I have never missed while the camera was running. I have missed however, and it's pretty uneventful. Basically I come short, hit the end of the pool table, and with the rubber nose cone, the Citabria bounces off, and lands more or less gently on the carpet. Nothing exciting.
Good. However, try trampolines as well, as they work surprisingly well. Also, try the Kyosho Minium Citabria, which seems equally good (and it's excellent value). The reason trampolines work with the Kyosho is because it weighs 22 grams.
Hey, you know what's better than the Citabria for indoor flight? Check out the Vapor. Do a google search, or look for the review here in youtube. It's made by the same company, and flys even slower. Cost is only a few dollars more, but well worth it.
Hey great video. I have one question though, I was flying m Citabria one day at the park and all of a sudden a gust of wind took my plane and whisked it about 100 feet away. I lost the signal from the transmitter and the plane divebombed into the ground. The plastic part of the propeller broke off the metal shaft and that was it. I don't want to pay for a new propeller from ParkZone and I want to fly my plane soon. Do you know any good ways of sticking it back on? Thanks. Colin
