Great song by the late Kin Vassy, who became well-known for his collaborations with Kenny Rogers. On the old UNI Records label (which later became MCA Records)! UNI's vast roster of artists included the likes of Neil Diamond, Elton John, Desmond Dekker & The Aces, Olivia Newton-John, Hugh Masekela & Brian Hyland, among others.

I knew Ken. He was the nicest person you would ever want to meet. And so much more talented then he got credit for. I know he is singing in Heaven!

Kin was a terrific vocalist and songwriter. So glad to find some of his music here.

Not only were Kin Vassy and Kenny Rogers in the The First Edition together they also wrote some songs together (including "Stranger In My Place").
Kin provided back-up vocals on several of Kenny's albums 1978 to 1990 period.
Kin passed away from cancer in 1994.
Thanks for sharing the song.
