When I was on tour in 1967, I somehow found a notice in the paper that Judy Roderick was singing in a little club. I had her first album and as good as it is hearing her in person was electrifying and has stayed with me all these years.

In 1967 a songwriter,called Sydney Carter, gave me the LP Woman Blue and I played it till it wore out.
