i use sheer lipgloss to my eyelids and crease,then take a brush with shadow on it and instead of smearing the shadow on ,,i dab the shadow on my eyes..it stays on all day and has a shimmery,sheer soft look to it all day...

@tigerfischerrox Body butter is too harsh for your face. It contains oily substances that will make your face more oily also, you will break out,... it clogs your pores because it is thick. That is why they make lotions SPECIFICALLY for your face...

U shouldn't use this stuff as a face primer, but it would make a good eyeshadow primer, for face I recommend a mix of aloe vera, moisturizer, and a little bit of foundation.

i dont get why people use body butter. i use my moisturizer that is for the face. I use aveeno face moisturizer, aveeno tinted moisturizer and maybelline dream mousse concealer and i must say it keeps my eye shadow on and it doesnt crease at all

Body Butter on your face is NOT a good idea. Substitute your favorite facial moisturizer instead and use a little powdered mineral foundation. Works a lot better for a tinted moisturizer...which is what Im guessing your going for here cause this is obviously not a primer. Good Luck!

WOW...this is not a primer. I primer should make your make-up either last longer or keep from creasing. This concoction would make my face a grease slick, make my foundation slide off and break me out since body butters aren't made for your face. Please don't lead people astray with misleading info/ video title. Re-title to how to make tinted moisturizer.

It's recommended that if you make a homemade face primer to use Aloe-vera gel, Mouisturizer and a foundation,concealer,etc....An­d the Mouisturizer should be non-scented and one that won't clog pores...So i use 100% Aleo Vera gel, Johnsons baby-lotion or CoCo Butter lotion (there both for hands,Face and body).

@julstar41 Hi! i have the same problem, i dont go out much so i just make my own, i use unscented body butter (not lotion because it would be too runny) foundation and concealer, with concealer i find that it really makes a difference, also for an uncolored use suncream, it does the same trick :) i hope this helps and check out my channel :) xxx

I shouldn't be tell people this but,... when you do it makes your homemade version work just as well as the full product of Urban Decay's. I did it with mine. :D

the oils in body butter along with foundation would cause creasing. The actual primers contain silica to absorb the oils produced by the eye lid. The ingredients in both are very different, I don't know what in body butter or foundation would make it stay on.

I tried making a homemade body butter using about a half a cup of shea or cocoa butter and about a cup of oils then you put it on the stove and melt it and once it is completely melted you remove it from the heat and once it starts to become a light solid beat it with your blender and add your foundation to that.

I used Nivea since it's just like body butter but it got all chunky, it's so wierd yet it still seems to work so I've been using it. I wonder if I'm not mixing it up enough or what. I think I'll just get some real body butter cuz my primer looks chunky and gross LOL.
