He's saying that HI HI HI was banned in the UK due to the inuendo of SEX and DRUGS in the lirics, althoug he considered the song mild, with no inuendo at all, but side B on the record ,C'Moom was a hit!!!!

Nixon spent a lot of his time attacking John Lennon ,and sending the INS after him because a old drug arrest in england... so when the president is irrational enough to think that there's a drug refference in a song he 'll the FCC to have the song/record banned... even when there is freedom of speech... it won't matter to him

Two great songs. This was one of the first singles I ever bought.
Shame on Paul though for saying "England" instead of "Britain". He should know better, especially since he lived in Scotland so much at that time.
