@MrNoian what exactly is it that you miss most about trondheim? the flavour, the colours, the people, some childhood memories? is it a combination of all of it? i was a couple of times there, but it´s so long ago. i was a child and a young boy. now i´m thinking to go back there in summer 2012. i hope you can deal with your inner loss. and yes: i have so warm memories about norway...very nice people.
@dustofsoul i was born and raised there, lived there for 20 years, and im now 26, i was there for my birthday last mounth, it was great to be there, I love everything that trondheim was, is, and mostly like what it will be :)
I have visited Trondheim so very many times in the past and love that little city so very much. It is full of charm especially at Christmas when the snow is falling. I have traveled all over the world and will always call Trondheim my most favorite of all cities. It feels like home...and my memories always carry me there. Where St. Olav lived and ruled.
It truly is a fantastic place, and a really well made video! My partner is Norwegian, and i have fallen in love with Trondheim thanks to him. We'll be moving there in a few months time, and i can't wait! And people are so so nice and friendly! The city is rapidly expanding in all directions, but the nicest parts are to me the ones along the river, by the sea and up on the hills, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole city! Go there, i promise you you'll never forget it!!! :)
I have been in this town last week to visit my sister, whisch studys there for a 5 months and it is the really beautiful town with the beautiful nature and a lot of snow now :-)
What a beautiful city...I've been to Norway/Norge four times in the 80s (my Mom's hometown is Bergen) and unfortunately I've never visited this city of Kings...I hope to some day 8^) Thanks for posting!
The orchestral music at the beginning and end of the video is the Prelude to the opera Parsifal by Richard Wagner. It is the among the most sublime music ever composed.
Great selection of music even if it is a bit somber.
