why would anyone want to spend $4k on a guitar and then turn around and spend $500 to have it refinished? sounds like a waste of money to me. i'd rather buy three sweet guitars for that price and use a $100 boss tuner!!

Toadies rule! If you want some inspiration to learn a lot of different tunings this guitar is sick. So much better than digital tuning like the VG Fender. Gibson will eventually have this on a guitar you would might want to be seen in. If it sounds good why wouldn't you do this? Also has the Digital program which let you signal each string so you can acoustic below and drop above, or pan different strings. Do you think you could take that freakin chrome cover off?

Im sold, so am gonna get me one of these babies. Not too keen on the look of the guitar, however, the sounds/tones and overall ease of use makes it ideal for any gigging situation.
