  • sound like the Wild West turn, really nice, and lol, everyone always argue for the #1 spot XD, all other songs of his that got upload rarely get a down vote, this one get a lot bashing haha

  • the world theme for after the apocalypse is superb as well

  • I would constantly stop when I reached the world map. Just to hear this.

  • FFIV is the best RPG ever

  • @ExecuteRobot Chronno trigger disagree

  • @JoseGamerMC So does SMRPG

  • @ExecuteRobot Yeeeah, Illusion of Gaia/Time, Secret of Mana and Tales of Phantasia as well.

    Good times...

  • love the flute

  • i have finished ff6 2 times, ff7 1 time,ff8 2 times,ff9 2 times,ff tactics 3 times and i dont regret a single second playing them

  • Eh. FF4 theme is better

  • tres belle musique

  • I actually agree for once with the #1 for these music rankings.

  • I think I might have to agree with this rank.

  • God this song gives me goosebumps, but I suppose a lot of great vgm does :D.

I just LOVE great video game music!

  • final fantasy 4 > 6 imo but still an amazing game.

  • FFVI (or 3, as it was called when I played it) had one of the best storylines of any RPG ive ever played. It was in many cases more epic than any other FF. I did however really like FF7 as well.

  • Good, but Chrono Cross' Another World map theme is better.

  • Comment removed

  • IMO, FFVI is the best out of its series. Classic RPG ftw.

  • You picked the perfect overworld theme. Absolutely.

  • greatest game ever made.

  • This theme plays when my phone rings. Without question the nr 1

  • Comment removed

  • agreed... this is #1. it's the only one that every stays fresh in my head since I played it new for the SNES when it came out lol.

  • wow a game becoming a bastion for those disenchanted by another with that logic they should haved moved to 8 not 6 im no fanboy of 7 or 6 but people just dont like or love 7 for the same reason because it was the start of a new era 7 gave us 3d gameplay a more interesting plot but im tired of seeing masamune's wielder in every spinoff sequel and movie 7 was good at its time but now that 5th era xiii-xv has started it wont get the same recognition ffix forever....i wish

  • How on earth did this Western pastiche get picked ahead of FF7/ Suikoden world map themes? This one is atrocious! I would play other music and mute the tv when playing this so-so game.

  • @Music1222 Go die in a fire you stupid fanboy

  • @Phnxkon So people are only fanboys if they like different games to you? :P I've seen loads of FFVI fanboys, rallying round the game to bark at the popularity of VII. Tell me, does VI or IX have GAMING DEFINING, not just Final Fantasy memorable, moments such as the two Aeris FMVs in the Forgotten Capital? Didn't think so.

  • @Music1222

Yeah you're TOTALLY right there was no big opera scene (Regularly put ahead of the scene where Aeris gets stabbed in lists... Just because you cried and have no testicles when she got stabbed doesn't mean everyone else did), someone jumping off a cliff, or anything like that! I don't know what I was thinking. And I call you a dumb shit piece of garbage fan boy for calling it atrocious, not for liking the other music more. Another 7 fan fails to make a valid point!

  • @Phnxkon Nobody but FFVI fan boys remember whatever that scene was. Seriously. I have no idea what that thing is. Yet another FFVI fanboy fails to make that sub-par game match up to the GROUND-BREAKING, HOUSEHOLD NAME of FF7. In popular culture, outside the cat-calling of "You suck", "FF7 sucks, yeah we pwn, you fail" youtube comments, it is still clips of FF7 that show in programmes about gaming, in news reports, etc. FF7 probably has the most memorable moment in gaming history.

  • @Music1222

So you are calling a came trash without ever playing it is what you are saying. You are also saying because 7 is more popular it is better. Don't make me laugh with your shaky ass arguments. I have never once been able to have a logical debate with any fan of that pile of over hyped dog shit. Yeah fans of other games actually payed attention to story. I'm pretty sure at one point you stop Shinra from SAVING THE PLANET. Why? "We don't like them!" Nice storyline... really... nice

  • @Phnxkon Well your , um, "argument" consisted of swear words. Well done! Actually, FF7's storyline is more popular because, 1/ It's better. I'm not even trying to be subjective here, just look at them both from a non-biased perspective. I HAVE played VI. I played until the end then gave up as it demanded i use characters I'd never used before - crap. I just can't remember much, and least of all some "opera scene" - and, try as you may, that is NOT a definitive scene in gaming; Aeris' death IS

  • @Phnxkon Secondly, in FF7 we have a storyline based around real life themes that are relevant to us! Thedestruction of Shinra was the destruction of a company, a corporation turned government, DESTORYING TH WORLD BY SUCKING OUT ITS LIFE ENERGY! If Sephiroth didn't do it, Shinra would have! There were TWO opponents, not just some abstract laughing clown. Furthermore, the theme of the meteor - well, with doomsday predictions ratcheting up every few years (2012, near-miss asteroids, etc), this ki

  • @Phnxkon kinda fits the bill as rather relevant storytelling. What we also have is a company draining the wold of its resources; in our world, of course, it's not spiritual energy but natural energy products, such as gas and oil. Additionally, money rules the FF7 world, and dirty politics can go a long way (note Sector 7). 7 is more popular because it is better. Now, give me an actual argument, because the only one of us with shaky grounds is the one spitting swear words in response.

  • @Phnxkon And FFVI is the overhyped game, becoming a bastion for those disenchanted by FF7. Final Fantasy 7 is regarded by the media, the public, and "most polls" as the best game of all time. FFVI is an average Final Fantasy in what was, before 7, an okay series. 7 was the game-changer; I think a lot of modern gaming has been influenced by it. When it comes to a new game, Ff13 for example, a "female Cloud", do you think S-E think, Oh, let's emulate 6 ... or 7?

  • @Music1222 read the really long one by me I forgot bout the whole reply to comment thing

  • @Music1222 Ah you liked FF 13... I don't ever have to reply to you again! that was a movie not a game.

  • @Phnxkon You're a oldschool fanboy, not a gamer. 13 is good (in more ways than just graphics)...the oldschools that keep blabbering and think S-E has an obligation to make games similar or equal to those wich they like, with improved graphics.

You`re just getting too old, friend.

  • @rogerrnt1990

No I do like newer games. I love Tales of Vesperia and Elder scrolls IV; Maybe i was spoiled when there were so many good games out when I started playing, but the quantity of quality games seems to be decreasing. My main concern with ffXII is most of the time spent playing the game is watching cutscenes rather than actually playing, your interaction is limited to shifting paradigms, if the character you are 'controlling' dies you lose, and other random things.

  • @Music1222 just because a series goes through a drastic "change" doesn't mean it's for the better. because of the fact that it attracts the wrong fans is the main reason why the old-school was better. i don't care if the oldies didn't get as much sales and brought into the mainstream like ff7 did to rpg games. back then final fantasy used to be a classic medieval jrpg series that didn't overhype anything. it stood it's balance with the story, character development and villainy. why ff6 is better

  • @Music1222

"7 was the game-changer; I think a lot of modern gaming has been influenced by it"

That's the main reason why most games (specially JRPG) have become shitty after the appearance of your beloved FFVII, along with all of it's ridiculous clichés.

You and all the FFVII lovers must understand FFVII was released on the perfect time, when FF was already famous and with the boom that was PlayStation, it was only matter of important coincidences.

P.S.: FFXIII is beautiful to see yet boring.

  • I think chrono cross Themes should be # 1

But Final Fantasy is more popular >_>

  • OMG!! FF6 MAP THEME THIS IS FREAKIN AWESOME

  • i remember waking up hearing this song as my older bro was playing this game....the ONLY tune i remembered all these years...i was about 7, now im 21...and still loving this !

  • where is the lala ? D:

  • I preffer the theme that plays at the end of the game, when .... (SPOILERS AHEAD)

you start gathering your party members and all.

    (END SPOILER)

Because this is Terra's theme, altough it is used in the world map as well.

  • @swordofluminesence You could likewise argue that Searching for Friends is the second airship theme, doubling as map theme.

    Both are beautiful, though.

  • This song made me just stop wandering around the world map and just enjoy the music. Same as with Chrono Cross and Triggers wonderful world map songs

  • Never played 6 but this music makes me want to

  • 31 people are gay

  • This is a DAMN good song, but I think Terranigma should have been the top one.

  • Once Nobuo Uematsu and John Willams were asked to work together to compose a soundtrack. They had to refuse the offer on the account of if they had, then the first note played would be so epic that it would set off a chain reaction that would engulf the entire world.

  • I saw an orchestra perform this song... and it was so beautiful, I had to go play the game again <3

  • Man, Final Fantasy VI was so perfect. Everything about it when it came out all those years ago. Super graphics, gameplay, music and story. Nothing comes even remotely close to it, even to this day.

  • Perfect choice for number one

  • 雪の中を歩く魔導アーマー3体を鮮明に思い出す音楽です。

  • I dont get how there can even be a favourate final fantasy, i love final fantasy itself, it reminds me of a saga of book's, all of them have great storys and twists, with an average of 8 main charactor's with great backrounds to each and every one of them, i grew up of these amazing game's, i stopped at final fantasy 10, i could see the game runnign dry of fresh idea's, but ill never stop loving them, it's very daft how some people hate on certain final fantasys, just enjoy them all.

  • @Infidelspud

    My thoughts :)

  • @Infidelspud

    My thoughts :)

  • @Infidelspud 10 was the last one by Squaresoft - 10 was the last good one...

  • @Infidelspud I agree final fantasy started losing the greatness in it's music and the gameplay after 10 and it's not with the current final fantasies but with other gaming the only thing "they" really focus on is the graphics of a game and not the music or gameplay.

  • @Infidelspud word my brother in games, i was going to comment something almost exactly the same. though.. the way you say it... i would've loved to see the first 9 final fantasy stories in a book saga.. and 10 would be something entirely diffrent, but still with the same feel of genuine fantasy. exploring, discovering, something that will make you laugh, cry, scream, berserk, get angry from, and ultimately love it, its something ive been missing the last FF games.

  • @Infidelspud

I beg to differ, the newer Final Fantasies didn't run out of fresh ideas, instead, they're so fresh that it's why they're criticized: because they're so different from what we were used to.

  • @Infidelspud - You should have played 12, it's a totally fresh take on the whole series!

  • @Infidelspud Of course everyone is going to gave a favorite Final Fantasy. Everyone has different tastes, and all the games are different. I don't enjoy them all, because they're not all great to me. Each game means different things to different people. This one means something to me because of the time that it came into my life, so it will forever be one of my favorites in the series.

  • It's been years since the last time I've heard this and played the game... good old memories.

  • I hear this song in my sleep! But im not complaining, its just very catchy! :)

  • she has my grandmother's earrings.

  • Oh, and great choice for no#1 theme x]

  • I don't know anybody who played VII first then VI, and decided that VI was better. It's always the other way around. I love VI, but even IV was as good. It just seems like all the FF fantards who haven't played the entire series to death or only jump on board with Advent Children got told by the internets that the FF "elite" say VI is best so they should like it best too. Also hating on X, the only problem I had with that game was loss of the world map, but it was the last FF to kick ass

  • i have the game and i i love this song so much

  • Of course it is the best song possible !

  • ............my soul travels...............

  • Final Fantasy 6 was the first game series to have a heroine be the actual main character. And what a character she was. She wasn't overly hyped or too "emo". Just that she was confused of who she was and what her life had purpose for in her world. Not to mention it has one of the few villains who actually got their goal, Kefka, who also is a truly hateful but lovable villain, unlike Sephiroth who is overrated and Jecht who could have had a more interesting battle.

    What a great game. :)

  • @ShareBear17 Actually FF6 had an ensemble cast, so Terra wasn't the only 'main' character, some people will argue Locke and Celes were the also the mains.

And Metroid was the first series to have a heorine for a main character, it first released more than half a decade before FF6.

  • @nextpkfr Well you know what? Nothing would have went the way it did without Terra, she saved everyone at the end and was the main string to all of the events happening. But who cares right? You fool I was talking about Final Fantasy series, not all games. Stop being a troll. It's annoying and takes the fun out of the video. Thanks.

  • @ShareBear17 You obviously don't know what a troll is. And all Im doing is correcting your mistakes, I dont care if you think it's annoying, I find it annoying when people say things which are wrong.

  • @nextpkfr Terra is the closest to a main character in the world of balance since her being freed kicks off the story. Celes is the main character in the world of ruin since she brings everyone together. Terra isn't absolutely necessary in the world of ruin, nor is Locke.

  • @nextpkfr

i wud go wiv locke as being the main character, terra was just the first.

its like shadows hearts 2. a game u cud play wivout the prequel. but u realize even tho karen was the first character u play as , yuri is still da main.

  • @ShareBear17 terra reminds me of samus aran in that sense

  • in my oppinnion im an idiot i got ridof this game ages ago because i couldn't get past the Sabin and Blitz part now i know how to do it and i dont have the game yet i love this theme sooooo much one of the Best FF games out there

  • Amazing song from an amazing game.

  • @Kenshinkun Well, everyone has his own opinion, I personally love this them^^

  • @Kenshinkun *theme^^

  • You make some valid points, but I just couldn't get into FFVIII and FFIX as much as I did FFIV through VII. I never played and Final Fantasy on the NES, but I did play Mystic Quest and it was my first FF.. which was got me hooked into the whole series. I haven't played XII or XIII yet either, and also never got around to playing X-2 because I thought it was stupid. If you have ever heard the final fantasy piano collections or the tour de france versions of the overworld themes to FFVI and FFVII

  • Aww.... I agree that Terra's Theme is super epic and an awesome overworld theme, but I like Looking For Friends better, so I'm kinda disappointed. Oh, well...I still love Terra's Theme, and it's an awesome choice for #1 on your list.

  • Pretty much the entire game soundtrack can take prizes for the best ____ song ever. This is the only game I've replayed a third time (and because of the emotional impact of the soundtrack). This OST is the 'Disintegration' (the Cure) of the video game world.

  • @sweetlouuu strongly recommend u play suikoden 2 if u havent alrdy ive replayed that game 15x+ (i lost count) and loved every single second of it

  • I can't wait until they redo this game for the PS3/PSP

  • I always thought ff7 had the best world map theme. Just my thoughts.

  • @HappyHawaiinSauce I had a hard time picking between the two. I know for a fact that I would leave both games on for hours just listening to both of their overworld themes. I'm a die hard FFVI fan, but FFVII has such good music too

  • @devestek I am currently playing 6 and I love it. I was very skeptical when people told me 6 was better than 7. But I can see why people enjoy 6 so much. Though IMHO every game has it's bits that are superior than the others. For example I think 10 has overall the best music (not the best theme though). Vivi from 9 was a great character because when he narrates he reflects on what's happening on this journey (example garnets "mother" dying).

  • @devestek Also Kuja represented a narcissist, he would do anything to prove to himself that his life is worth something. In the end he thinks he is worthless but Zidane tried to convince him that "no one is worthless." In ff8 we have probably the best game for the first half of any game. The game starts off really well but it's ending was sub-par when compared to 10 and 7. ff7 has some of the greatest characters. I like how most of these characters have some sort of back story, which is

  • @devestek something you don't see in 10, 9, or 8 (though you see it in 6). Cloud's struggle with his past, Vincents struggle with Lucrecia. Tifa's emotions regarding cloud. Aerith's role as the last Cetra. Sephiroth's god complex. Barrets care for marlene. Cid's dreams of reaching space. Red XIII's internal conflict over his father. But cait sith and yuffie don't really have anything... actually i think the game would be better off if cait sith died in the ancient temple.

  • @devestek Then you have ff6. Kefka is probably the most brutal villain I have seen in the entire series (so far). There are so many points in the game where he just angers you. I was mad at him when he killed off all those espers with ease, or when he poisoned everyone, or when he killed General Leo. Though I am still in the process of finishing (I'm in world of ruin now) so don't spoil anything please.

  • @HappyHawaiinSauce

in my opinion you are right, although technically zemus from FF4 would count due to all the brainF- he causes on your party and enemies, event hough he only appears at the end. but kefka was a madman from beginning to end, and they made it clear to you several times over.

also, i hated the Leo thinguie, i was like "hell yeah! this guy is so awesome and white-knight-like, he is totally joining my part-GODDAMNIT KEFKA"

  • @devestek I started playing 12 and i couldn't finish because my ps2 died but 12 is definitely the hardest one mainly because I am playing at the fastest setting with active mode and I don't do many random battles, making me very under leveled, and last time i checked I have yet to see someone do a low level run without having the benefits of pausing the game while selecting magic.

I also didn't finish ff2 because the game freezes during some airship chase after i get some flame.

  • @devestek But lets face it each one of these games have flaws:

ff6: They unequip characters after a cutscene sometimes

    ff7: all materia is broken

ff8: if you sit and draw for an hour, flee from random battles = broken

ff9: Sometimes you spend a good 1 hour on dialogue, dialogue that doesn't really concern the plot. Also I was pissed to find out magic tag = holy water. Most games call it holy water/revivify caused confusion.

ff10: Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri, aren't interesting characters.

  • @devestek I need a life

  • Epic song ...

  • lol Who else saw this coming?

  • The Golden Sun song is better

  • This and "Searching for friends" are the most Beautiful themes of the entire FF series, for those who liked this one I recomend "Terra in Black" (OC Remix from Ailsean)

  • Hmm, even in FF6 I slightly prefer the 3rd overworld theme "Searching for friends"

Hell, even the name itself sends chills down my spine. What a PERFECT name for that section of the game. And the confident but not overpowering tune of hope defines the second half this game for me, so I would have to take that one over Terra's theme by a razor's edge.

  • 6 was good but not necessarily challenging. i think 7 was the pinnacle of the series leading away from the old to the new. and i think 7 is my pick for the best one. If Cosmo Canyon made its way into 6 somehow, i would like it, but the only other one that comes close is 9, 8 even.

  • @FathomThePower you might have a point if 7 wasn't a piss-easy game. While everyone is entitled to their opinion of which game is their favorite, you won't convince many by saying 7>6 because 7 was more challenging....

Most people who like 6 better like it more than 7 because their characters cannot be stereotyped so easily, and are far more diverse. Also, there is a TREMENDOUS amount of symbolism in the game.

Terra vs Celes (earth vs sky)

Cyan (who's people were killed by poison, Cyanide)

  • So many people jus' ignoring FFVII..

  • @JeiDizzle Because VII isn't the best FInal Fantasy, a lot of people have yet to realize the greatness of VI because it's sound chip, the only reason VII's popular was because it was one of the first PS1 games to release, and Square said they put more effort (Which it was obviously lacking) VI takes the cake.

  • @shadowsaber2 Dude, FFVII was sweet due to some returning staff, those whom worked on a magnificent game called Chrono Trigger. FFVII had as much heart as FFVI, but just something more.. VI does not take the cake, friend. It indeed does not. But, then again, I think that Mystic Quest was Square's crowning achievement.. who knows? Thanks for the rebuttal, friend.

  • Smugfag fails at being smug.

  • @JeiDizzle Other than Aerith theme, none of FF VII songs are worth being here.

    my opinion ^^

  • I love how this music is so adventurous and epic at the same time.

  • This is #1... Perfect choice. . . Just made a favorite. . . <3 you Terra.

  • @alexi626 <3 you too! Jk couldn't resisit! Best rpg of all time.

  • Comment removed

  • FFVII theme is better imo

but this is a good one anyway

  • in my other pants....theres a wallet

  • beautiful theme.

  • Haha listened to number 2 and wanted to play Chrono Cross. Now I want to play FF3.

  • damnit all whyd i listen, now im gonna fuckin play it. son of a

  • This theme was stuck in my head for two weeks. and kept coming bad and i kept searching around what it was, and finally, I remembered, there I was, walking on a map.

  • It's a close call for me personally. I could just as easily say FFVII's or Chrono Cross'. I certainly cannot fault you for this though. I would have had a hard time choosing. IN fact, if you had said one of the two that I listed I would probably been saying Terra. This is a good countdown concept I haven't seen done yet. Good job.

  • Needs a little bit of Skies of Arcadia

  • As good as this song is, the second world theme in VI, once you get the Falcon is a bit more nostalgia inducing. <3

  • @strikerk - agreed.

  • Number ONE? Sweeeeet.

  • its is epic but nothin beats the ps1 final fantasys

  • I think FF6 is the best RPG out there too! :D This is my one of the most beautiful world map themes of all time. It's definitely number 1 in my book. :3

  • I just can't describe how much better FFVI is compared to all other RPG's (Besides chrono trigger)

  • Love this World theme, this and Chrono Cross easily have the best World themes, so glad you had them and 1+2, they're pretty much equal in my eyes.

  • dissidia's remix of this is even better. great tune

  • @BoswerLK It's better, but isn't as long and misses a large section of her actual theme. It's still great, though.

  • epic

  • were you get the #24 Baten Kaitos Origins - The Boundary Between the Wind and the Earth

    ????????

  • is a wonderful theme, i love it *-*

  • A very good choice...

  • Detesto la colocación de las canciones y algunas selecciones

  • I really REALLY do find this strange, I honestly expected to see enya in this FF 4 (UK) if others don't really know the name. a beautiful piece, but I must admit, this is an epic bit of music too. The oldschool FFs had the GOOD tracks. In honesty.

  • oh yea this one.... when i first saw this on the playlist... u rly put me on thinking what possible theme would be... yea this one ill take it back golden sun map theme isnt better than this :P... hehe so many memories from this game... cant play ps3 these days :(... i spilled pepsi on/in it n it wont start up n the frigging red light on xbox is getting on my nerves.. n too lazy to play wii... lol im gonna play n64 haha lol so old school :P

  • Completely agree. FF6 Main Theme is amazing.

  • LOVE IT

  • The best rpg, the best sound track, the best forever!

  • afther listening to the list for about 2 hours i can say this list is great :D good musics and really the best is FF6.s soundtrack :D you won a subber :D

  • Oh god yes!

  • This is my favorite game out of the FF series (so far since i haven't played passed 12) This is the best world map theme I have heard from an RPG so far.

  • @NintendoKid64 No way FF7 has the best carried on and most complex story line out of all the FF's. And for the Year i was made it had the best graphics out of any game.

  • @maldread88 VII's story in a nutshell, emo kid runs around, finds a woman he loves, she's killed, becomes more emo and jumps into a Mako Reactor, finds out he's not Zack Fair, becomes himself, tries to kill Sephiroth, succeeds, world is saved.

  • @NintendoKid64 I wouldn't sayy best but one of the best ;D

  • @NintendoKid64 agree 100% VII was good but VI had a better story and villian

  • To create such a song you have to be a freakin' genius!

FF6 is one of the best rpg ever! Best mix between heroic fantasy and industrial places!

  • I totally agree that this should be #1. Its a fantastic piece of music. I used to turn on the game and just let it run so I could listen to it with no interruptions.

  • In my own opinion Final Fantasy's musical strength is more in its sheer magnitude as a series. The series and Uematsu's music (particularly as compared to the Chrono series and Mitsuda's music) has a fairly low density as far as good music, though because of it's immensity as a series it has about as many incredible songs as Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross.

  • @WaddleDeeWaddleDoo I completely agree on this

  • This isn't bad; still was upset you didn't include Dragon Quest I or II's overworld theme, and I didn't see Final Fantasy Tactics. Glad you included Star Ocean II

Good list; there aren't many I disagree with.

  • I have always loved this since I was 14 and the game came out

  • I consider Zelda and an action/adventure game. It didn't really have a leveling up system that invoved getting exp. or cyristals or whatever that you could put toword bringing up stats or abilities directly. You got upgrades to health/magic bar, new/better verisons or weapons/equipment, abilities and other stuff thru story, side quest, exploration, opening chests, buying them, etc.

  • I love this game and theme, too bad the corruption on the game file I was using on my emulator kicked in froze the game in the last(?) dungeon.

  • LOL? People only like Final Fantasy, since its a game that gets alot of advertising and such, its a nice RPG, but doesnt even compare to games such as Golden Sun =) And Golden Sun: The Lost Age =) The song for the world map there is also far more god-like than this one =) Theyr so addicted to Final Fantasy that theyl immediaty identify this song as the best world map song out there lol.

  • @gyrotuffjonykirby not really i played FF1 ever since NES came out and i loved that game so much and wanted too play all of them only afew got advertised like ff7 and other ones , FF has the best music overall and best games , compared too golden sun only 2 games too 13games and almost ff14 no contest , dont get me wrong i love both golden sun games. but dont be saying only ppl play FF cause its advertised thats just plain stupid.

  • @gyrotuffjonykirby I think they do compare since Golden Sun is basically a Final Fantasy ripoff.

  • @kdavs823 Why? because GS handles the summons way better than shit FF13?

  • @gyrotuffjonykirby Both FF and GS are great, but I also like GS a lot more. I agree with you that I liked TLA's "Walking Forward with Determination" a lot better than this FFVI world map theme.

  • @gyrotuffjonykirby People like final fantasy cause they are amazing games not cause of advertising. Golden Sun i played and its no where near as good as final fantasy VI. I am an rpg fan through and through but final fantasy definately stands out as the number 1 best rpg series of all time. Not being a fanboy just being a gamer who loves rpgs.

  • @mhaid2000 fanboy, dont lie xD

everyone that has played golden sun knows that Gs is much better than FF

  • @tibualex My friends and family who have played golden sun said its not as good as final fantasy and yes i am a final fantasy fanboy. So sue me.

  • Totaly agree with the 1st place.

As far as Zelda is concerned, I think Zelda's games are Action-RPG, like Soleil (Crusader of Centy), Landstalker, Alundra, Story of Thor and even Okami, because there are to close to Illusion of Gaïa, Soul Blazer, Terranigma, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Mystic Quet (= Seiken 1 GB) to be out of the RPG category. Even Square said that, with Secret of Mana, they wanted their own Zelda, their own Action-RPG.
