problem is. who are they gonna share it with? Its probably not viable at the moment. Melbourne Victory's new stadium is gonna be shared w/ the rugby, and possibly a 2nd Melb team.
Sure it'll be great for the big matches and internationals, but what about inbetween the big games? domestically, hindmarsh stadium doesnt get packed for normal a-league games.
Hindmarsh doesn't get packed because it's not easily accessable and people aren't insured a seat there. People think "what if I can't get in, all that drive and effort to find a parking spot for nothing."
A bigger stadium in a spot that has at least a train line and a bus stop next to it and also has a lot of parking would probably bring bigger crowds.
you think he's career in Athens was any better... lol you better don't worry about him when he finishes he'll have enough money to live up his life in luxury..
Rivaldo is not the only great player who end up in an unknown club. what about Beckham? how on earth he chose to go to america where people play "american football"! Beckham, like Rivaldo, is spreading this great game to places where football is less popular. Rivaldo has been and seen all the tops... he doesn't have to prove anything to anybody anymore. He was/is/will be always great.
I wish Adelaide United all the best for the second leg of their semi-final at FC Bunyodkor's home stadium. Go for Australia's first football club champions' cup in Asia! Go you Reds! Do us Aussie football clubs proud! Do Oz proud!
c'mon REDS!! Even though i dont support them in the A-league they are the team in the ACL!! Well down boys! i can just see them playing in the finals now and perhaps even against Man U! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what the hell is that all about....what does Allah have to do with this.....I suppose all success by ur teams depend on whether u have devine intervention or something
Since the Japanese teams drew, and Bunyodkor was labeled as the favourite to win the ACL, we are "currently" in the TOP 3 Club Teams in all of Asia ...
Everyone is looking forward to playing Man U in the Club championship already. Adelaide is by no means already through. Although i do really hope they make it. Even playing in the ACL final is a massive game. Gamba and Urawa are both very big clubs in the Asian scene and meeting them in the final would be massive. In the CC we would also come up against some other really good opposition such as the south american champs. Lets hope adelaide can do better than the NZ team did in the CC last.
What a great night. We only have to hold out for a draw in Uzbekistan, and even if they win 2-0, we still go through.
YOOOUUUU REDDDS!
Has anyone noticed that they haven't given them the right name yet? The whole game during commentating, and even at the stadium on the scoreboard it had 'Kuruvichi' which is their old name, now that they are called Bunyodkor
Bunyodkor got punched in the mouth, and got a few front teeth dislocated in the process. I think the Reds will want to win again down in Tashkent to seal the deal, and turn up the heat, because that's what they will need to do at this point in the tournament, and especially against Urawa or Gamba.
I'm a Perth Glory fan but we need to understand that Adelaide Utd is now Australia in the AFC. Their priority is definitely the AFC rather than the A-League. Fair enough... If they win the competition they go to Japan for the World Club Championship.
im a roar fan, but 3-0 against strong opposition is a fantastic result for adelaide, the a-league and australia. good luck to them in the rest of this competition. well done adelaide!
i'm a jets fan, and we lost our place in the 09 ACL to these guys on a penalty shoot out, but i have lossed by bitterness ages ago. this is great stuff for australian football. come on adelaide!
of course they'll pick up some glory hunters, they already did with the latest batch of transfers.
I gotta admit that was well played by Adelaide. I support a different team in the A league but Ive never seen an Aussie team play so beautiful, might make the effort to watch some more Adelaide games.
so does anybody know which football club Qu Shengqing is signed up with? Ta. He was the first Chinese national to play in the A-League. Now we have another Chinese bloke in Wellington Phoenix by the name of Gao Leilei. (surname, then given name). Peace, my friends.

Rivaldo did good for us but sorry,
playing for a club like that,

good luck to him

you dont want him ending up like romario playing a thousand games
u finish on the top mate
not with some unknown club that plays AFC.
