@D33kay87 And yeah, I already have such a car. (Only white color:S) and when we have a dragrace in the Netherlands, we get sometimes full speed of around 240-250 an hour. With some extra's (turbocharger etc.) we sometimes get speeds of around 300 an hour. Very fast on highways!:)

@dinagge correct. The Integra needs some small setups to catch up like bigger exhaust system. With this setup you get the GTI 6 and Opel Astra OPC (0-120 mph inabout 25 - 26 secs)

D33kay87 ok buddy just because it may have a type r motor in it does not make it a REAL JDM type r. a rREAL JDM type r is RHD has a different front end and comes with honda badges because in japan they dont have acura.. its just a integra with a UK/EDM type r swap and type r wing...not a TRUE JDM type r plus a b18c6 isnt even a true type r motor.. that motor is a UK/EDM motor not JDM.. b18c5 is the real JDM type r motor

@21FFmike that's correct, its not the JDM. It's the Integra they sold only in europe (DC2 '98). It's different from the japan and us version. It's supposed to be a true Type-R with it's VTEC, e.g. racing @ Nürburgring.

actually, the true JDM motor that came with all of the type r's in japan was the b18c, not the b18c5. the b18c5 was the usdm trpe r motor.

i have the integra 1.6 16v vtec its a nice car and it revs to 8500 rpm which sounds lovely and is quite fast but type-r hondas leave me for dust so im gona have to get a type-r

I guess so, if I'm not wrong the GS-R Version has 170 HP and the Type-R goes with 190 HP.

The GS-R only goes to 180 km/h and the Type-R to 260 km/h. correct me if i'm wrong.

Unless you've got $20k to spend anyways.

GSR's are great cars also.

With a GSR u can build it up or even swap the engine later down the road for a Type R's.

The VTEC is the Type-R if i'm not wrong. Type-R is only saying that the engine got 2 camshafts, the one for 5.700 rpm - 9.000 rpm is the Vtec. And yea, it's worth it! Find another car with 200 HP that goes from 0-100 in 6,5 and 0-200 in 28 seconds

as far as I know the Integra Type-R was redesigned in 1998 for the japanese and european market.

Since 1994 the Acura Integra was only sold in the US and Canada and it has got 170 hp.

The Acura looks different. The honda has another bodykit, spoiler and different front lights.

But I might be wrong.

a stock honda integra goes with 190 HP a stock acura integra "only" with 180 HP so I guess the honda is a bit faster in accelleration and maximum speed. The JDM Honda Integra from Japan has 210 HP thats the fastest one

yes it is very noticeable as soon as vtec kicks in (round about 6000 RPM). You feel a big push and when u go up to 9000 RPM and shift this "push" won't stop untill fifth gear ends.
