Notice how every Democrat has lowered the debt/GDP since Roosevelt, and only Republicans (excluding Obama and the massive recession he inherited, and thereby the massive debts that come on the pricetag) have raised the debt/GDP.

Nike, Nixon, and Ford were the only Republicans to reduce the debt/GDP since 1947. Reagan and the Bushes increased it. The only Democrats, Truman, JFK, and Clinton decreased it excluding Obama.

All in all, Republicans have increased debt by over 50% of GDP in 50 years.
