As a electronic songwriter myself, it just looks like you found a default drum loop and added 3-4 different VSTi's onto a single MIDI track. Maybe a modulator in there somewhere, but nothing too fancy... If you plan on making another version of this, I suggest playing with chords or at least adding in a bassline. Nonetheless, techno is meant to be catchy and this certainly was. Well done, hope you consider my advice.

@Achiox Hey thanks for the advice. You were partially correct. It was not a default drum loop, i used different drum samples and made my own loop. also, yes the main melody was from a midi, as i did not have the patience to click in the notes for all of O canada. i actually did have a bassline and some chords which i added on myself but i guess it wasnt very prominent. overall i made the remix quite hastily but nonetheless thanks for the advice man

They played a similar but far crappier remix at my school and I can't take it seriously at all. Sometimes I ask if we are actually standing up for the anthem. It's bad for our country and it's shitty techno (this one is better).
