i like the original ending,, were shes so happy he did time for her,, it let's us feel as though he really does love her, hes jus not very expressive, it keep's to the theme an whole plot of the way they originally were with each other, an it ends with him telling the story of the scorpion, i love that, it all ties in together brilliantly, its an excellent film jus the way it is..
this ending wasnt bad at all. both of them i would have been happy with it, the first one is tough though dil and fergus are going to have wait 7 years, compared to what it looks like 3-6 months in this one. btw dave got what he deserved. :)
Thank you for showing this. Just one question, did you upload the whole alternate ending? Because I remember reading somewhere that this scene ended with Jimmy and Dil walking off together into a crowd holding hands. Well, maybe what I read wasn't true.
@nellykims Yes there is a part cut out on this YouTube video. The missing part has them making vacation plans as they walk off into a crowd. You can view it on the collector's edition DVD.
I like this ending better, less dramas , and visiting prison.

I think the original ending is better than this. If they went with this alternative ending it would've never gotten an oscar nomination

O_O oh my god! good but i prefer the orgynal one.. it's more realistic and dramatic than this one :)
