Falsely accusing people of rape demeans people who were actually raped and makes it necessary to assault the character of rape victims in future cases to ensure that they are legitimate. This chick needs to go to jail because if nothing happens to liars, then more people will lie. More innocent people could go to jail, and more innocent rape victims could be put through hell by well meaning authorities who have to pursue the truth.

I definitely think it was wrong for her to lie about all of that, but those guys really shouldn't have had sex with her in the first place. That's nothing to go to prison over as far as the guys are concerned, and I think the girl should be held responsible for her actions, I don't know if jail time is the answer or not though.

I'm not an expert on the law, but maybe those guys can sue her in a civil suit for defamation of character and lost wages. The police can charge her for man power used on the investigation, and the court can charge her with court costs. Maybe I'm wrong but I've seen it done before.

As a former rape crisis counselor, I can tell you that any woman whether in her right mind or not would never voluntarily sleep with 5 men. Videos like yours and articles like the one CNN posted perpetuate an image that women generally lie about getting raped. For women who have been raped, it is extremely painful to be called a liar when something that traumatic has happened to you. Why then would women lie? Bc women who tell the truth of being raped are punished by society either way.
