I would rather be beaten with lead pipes, dragged naked through broken glass and then dunked in a bathtub full of lemon juice, only then to die of a hemorrhagic stroke than hear this again.

In the movie part of this video George Bellamy is in the centre, furthest from the camera. In the still pictures at 0:3 - 0:6 and at 0:16 - 0:18 he is the one on the far right. The still picture at the end of the video is a later Tornados line-up. The one at the bottom right at 1:30 is the now deceased Bryan Irwin, who was George's replacement on rhythm guitar. George left the Tornados for health reasons, around August 1963, having collapsed on stage from the strain of constant touring.
I prefer the one immediately behind him. That Jeremy Lloyd got around...I've seen him in Help, Hard Day's Night, a Billy Fury film and now this all on U Tube always in the same suit !! The he went on the write those comedy scripts..nice life !

lol, I'm a big Muse fan and decided to give this band a chance, but although I love bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, hell, even Bob Dylan, those guys are too old for me...Too 50's
I'm pretty sure George Bellamy is far right at 0.03, 'cause he was the shortest in the band and actually [in my opinion] that person do look more alike Matt than the guy at far left. :)
Thanks, any idea if "Farewell Performance" is in print or can be found anywhere? I know "Live It Up" can be purchased at a website and I've been meaning for a while to get a copy.
2 where he had an acting part - Farewell Performance" which I've never seen.
Live It Up with David Hemmings, a 16 year old Steve Marriot, the Outlaws with Ritchie Blackmore and Chas Hodges, and a performance from Gene Vincent. Jennifer Moss (Lucille in Coronation Street)plays Hemmings girlfriend.
yep, it's George Bellamy! But in this photo it's a bit difficult to notice similarities between him and matt. He looks more like Matt at 0:03 (on the right). :)
My fav band of all time, got all there tunes, when I play drums I follow clems example on the skins,I would like to see more vids like this one. They did another Lullaby of the stars, which I have got, just as fab as this one.
Because when the sun comes up all the stars go to the other side of the planet! It's obvious! The sun is so big it fills up all of the hemisphere and the stars are forced to move onto the other half of the sky. Simple.
Your video clip is great and I've rated it as awesome. Please check out mine on some trading cards of 1960's chart topping stars: The Tornados, Cliff Richard, Elvis Presley, Adam Faith, Billy Furry, Frank Sinatra, Lonnie Donegan, and Shirley Bassey.
That's why he was chosen. He stayed for approx. 6 months & was then replaced by Brian Gregg.
The Tornados then comprised of Alan Caddy-Guitar, Clem Cattini-Drums,Brian Gregg-Bass (The 3 Pirates who played on Johnny Kidd's Shakin' All Over, along with session Guitarist Joe Moretti.)George Bellamy-Rhythm Guitar & Roger Lavern (nee Jackson) on Keyboards.
I might be wrong, but I always though that "Globertotter" was that song which sounded like"Venus In Blue Jeans".This is more like "March Of The Spacemen" of The Thunderbolts, another Joe Meek production.
I admit I had my doubts about that one; but since I last heard it a long time ago, and both the source I got the video from and the subtitles claim it to be The Globetrotter, I went with that. Thanks for pointing that out, I'm now trying to get hold of the march of the spacemen, if it's the same composition I'll change the descripion.
March Of The Spacemen is not exactly this song,it has some space noises at the begining and operatic background voices. From 00:14 to 00:40 is the chorus, but the rest hasn´t anything to do with the Thunderbolts version.Anyway, both are great tunes.
