Thats the way it was in the soundtrack. Capcom lost the soundfiles or something, and basically ripped it from their game instead. The lifebar sound stayed in. But personally, I think it makes sound even better!

Yep , X1 HAD guitar sounds. And it was pretty much perfect.

X2 music kindoff doesn't hit the feeling of X1... not that it was bad but there is nothing really worthwhile to be remember. Zero's theme was the only one which I could remember at all.
