Nice! I drove mustangs before my shoulders started dislocating and I had to get cars with manual transmissions. Made my neighbours mad as all get-out. :)
I know exactly how it feels haha me and my friend made a video of before and after in my bike. Does it sound different in person? In my videos the camera doesn't seem to get the sound very well.
I love Cruiser-style bikes. I passed my bike-license in 1981 and never really bothered until recently when I started riding again. Although I ride a borrowed Jinlun 250 'V' its brilliant fun to be riding again. That's a nice bike you have there...
@IntellectualAmy Very cool! Wow, we certainly have a lot in common...Jeeps, bikes, basses!... What more could a girl want!?!...hehehe Would love to see a pic of your steed!
i have found your vid after 2months of looking guess that i didn't look in the right places just have to fav this once in a while i need a good chuckle and your reaction to your new pipes just cracks me up
didn't you say that you have a new bike ?if not how are you doing ?
did they ever build that house ? take and ride safe my friend
Glad that I could give you a chuckle...it still cracks me up and this was ages ago now...hehehe No, didn't get a new bike...just the pipes. Still loving them, too!!! I think they were just roofing...hehehe Ride safe, too!!! Rubber side down!
Hi! I have the identical bike and been debating about getting these pipes so it no longer sounds like a sewing machine. Thanks for this high quality video. It really shows the difference! Sounds sweet! One question, is it too loud at all on long trips? I don't want it to be annoying...
Hi tonyming6969 and thanks for stopping by. No, I wouldn't say that it was too loud on long trips and I've ridden thousands of miles with this bike at one shot. Now, the derrier is another story...heheh If you put the pipes on, film it and let me know. Would love to see! Have fun and keep the rubber side down!
No, I didn't have to remove the baffles...the sound was just perfect. All I had to do was tweak out the mixture screws a little so it wasn't backfiring so much. It still backfires a bit from time to time.
Hi Hoxie...no, no rejetting but I did have to fiddle with the mixture screws a lot at first because I was getting some resespectable backfires!...heheh No blueing either!
A classic reaction; from zero to bad-ass in a twist of the wrist. Nothing like a nice new set of pipes. I take it from your reaction this is the first time you've had a new set? Enjoy the toys.. Your scooter will run cooler too, now that you are letting it breathe. Nice looking ride, lady.
Thank you very much....yes, my first set of new pipes. Funny, this is my fourth bike and it is the first one that I've customized in this way. It's fun and I'm still rather enjoying my loudness...hehehehe
I had to come back and watch this again...lol. I have now fav'd it - anytime I need a pick me up, it's there...lol...instant giggle factor...lol...:) It's just great.
Any other mods to this bike besides the pipes? Just wondering. Sounds great btw =)

@NoRegretsPro Nope, that's the only thing different that I've done so far. Thanks! I'm still enjoying the rumble!

Great vid.... priceless expression! Awesome sound!
I just ordered these exact pipes w/ jet kit for my '05 Shadow Spirit and expect to install within the week.
Question... in the vid... I'm assuming both baffles were removed?
Won't be any "sneaking in at night" with these pipes, eh?
