peyton is great, but not better than brady. i know we're never gonna see eye to eye on this but thats just what i see. Pats went from 18-1 to not even making the playoffs when brady was out. And Philip Rivers is not over rated, the chargers as a team are very over rated(I admit that even though chargers are my team) but Rivers is always on the top in passer ratings, and most analysts thought he should have gotten mvp last year over peyton. I used the wrong word with Rivers, he's more inconsistent than overrated. Last year in the playoffs I think he threw for 3 or 4 TD's in Wild Card week then threw 3 picks the next week. I still think Peyton is better than Brady because he's had success with less than great teams and Brady's teams are almost always next to legendary with talent. So they still in essence WERE CHEATING, even though they stopped, they were still feeling the benefits of it. That is why for the most part they struggled at the end of the year, and especially against the NFC. Remember the Ravens should have beat them too, but the refs helped you out there. peyton is great, but not better than brady. i know we're never gonna see eye to eye on this but thats just what i see. Pats went from 18-1 to not even making the playoffs when brady was out. And Philip Rivers is not over rated, the chargers as a team are very over rated(I admit that even though chargers are my team) but Rivers is always on the top in passer ratings, and most analysts thought he should have gotten mvp last year over peyton. I used the wrong word with Rivers, he's more inconsistent than overrated. Last year in the playoffs I think he threw for 3 or 4 TD's in Wild Card week then threw 3 picks the next week. I still think Peyton is better than Brady because he's had success with less than great teams and Brady's teams are almost always next to legendary with talent. I think they missed the playoffs last year because it demoralized the team when Brady got hurt. He is a great leader, but not quite as good a QB

now i definitely agree, brady is less dominant now that he doesnt have an amazing defense to build him up since the departure of junior seau, asante samuel, and richard seymour. but on the other hand he still has the 20+ yard plays with randy moss, the pitch and catch with wess welker, and the solid running game with lawrence maroney. i wont write him off unless his entire season is weak. and since patriots are my most hated franchise in any sport my respect to brady means a lot.
