Idk why ppl don't tought it is real in the first season. When they watching the movie the cam just shut off after mikuru beam, it's not a super surprise at this point everyone knows Haruhi can affect the world with her thoughts.

@ChristopherAngelies Like i said, Haruhi can "control" the world with her toughs. In this scene she really want Mikuru can use the laser, in other word Haruhi make this as truth in the world something like "When Mikuru put the blue lens she really can do a laser attack".

It's explained a little in anime and better and novels, try read the novels is better than anime :D

I love how Koizumi-kun is like "OH SHIT" because he can't use any of his esper powers out of closed space. You can tell that Nagato-san is pissed off as hell when she almost shoots Kyon-kun. Honestly, Nagato-san has to like Kyon-kun in 'that way'..

Oh, and by thew way, Nagato-san 'can' feel pain. She just doesn't show any of it because she has such strong control over her emotions.
