There are really poetic features in this song, it is even a lot better than the english version! The fact that she feels to be possesses by her own image instead of possessing her is genial, and true. It goes deeper than every version I think. Not much a song for children though... :)

Im norwegian, and I had an islandic best friend when I was younger, and I would stay at her home all day, where they only spoke islandic to each other.. And after a year I understood it all.. now I have forgotten it.. But im thinking about moving there for a year and learning it properly.. i love the language!! just wanted to let somebody know :/
