Lol, I just got this game and it is by far the most complex sim I've ever had. It's mind boggling to me. I don't even know how you guys slew your view around and then able to select whatever with your mouse without the view going wherever your mouse is pointing. Is there a button you hold or something that locks your view in place while having the pointer free to select knobs or switches? NOOB ALERT! lol All i have for this sim is a keyboard and mouse. i think I need a joystick.
You can put in your own music as well. Just go to the BS folder, find sounds\samples\RadioMayak\music. In the music folder you put your music. If you already knew it could help if anyone else wanted to.
You had to push a million buttons just to get off the ground. Do you have to be/are you a pilot, or did you just read the manual and get a lot of practice?

But all the auto pilot channels are on (except altitude hold which is optional) like it always should be, I am using the flight director in this video but normally I don't and just trim constantly.
can you tell me some tips on how to fly better in hard flight mode? because when i startup like that and when i get in the air my helicopter goes out of control pitching back and rolling like hell
How do I communicate with the tower and ground crew? the tutorial says I should press slash ,(/), then F6 or F10, but notting happens..? :( Thank you.
Yes the radio is ingame. You can switch the radio to 125.675 AM if you are closer then 80km to the city called Maykop to listen to the radio station called mayak.
Also, if you become bored of the music and don't want to listen to it anymore and are to lazy to switch your radio off, then you can blow the radio station up and it will stop broadcasting :D
@Cp2oooo I have the latest patch for DCS Black Shark and when I switch to 125.675 on the radio there is no music. But when I was on the earlier patch there was music... :(
I'm curious about your in-game axis tuning on the X52. I have the same one as you and i find it a bit awkward, because of how the joystick is very loose close to the centre point and quite stiff when trying to do small movements
If I tried a flight sim without trackIR, I'd probably end up slitting my wrists before I could take off. If your tIR is sluggish try turning down smoothing a bit. mine's at about 35 I think, with a moderate acceleration from center to threshold. My bank sensitivity is low but the rest are all middle of the road. Also if you have a vector expansion it helps an absolute ton, if not I dunno what to tell you, except get one :D
How do you get your trackir movements so smooth? my trackir profile is really sensitive to the tiniest bit of movement, but it feels really sluggish at the same time, what settings/tweaks have you made to the trackir profile?

Cool stuff for sure. However no volume knobs work for me (1.0.1 patch). The radio is on full volume at all times.
