@mxrider70 yeah it works on my computer with everything but pinnacle. i have the turtle beach p11's with a usb port not the one that hooks into the microphone jack on my computer. so maybe that is why it doesn't work?

How to do a Voice-Over on Pinnacle Studio 12

1.Open up Pinnacle Studio 12

2.Import your clips.

3.Click the small speaker image next to the Timeline.

4.Grab your mic and record.

5.Save video.

I hope that sums it up a bit.

When I wanted to do voice-overs, I went to the store and saw a different DVD recorder: Video 2 Go (I didn't try to find it but we just looked around and found it). For the Dazzle I had to go to a different store... Anyway, the package includes:

PC: Drivers + Cyberlink PowerProducer(8 or 5.0) + Cyberlink PowerDirector(8 or 5.0)

Mac: Video2Go software

Both: Same as Dazzle.

I also bought 3 splitters (2 female, 1 male) and a 2.5m cable (3 male on both ends)

@BrandonTheEditor I had the same problem. It isn't your laptop and it isn't your Dazzle. It is the program. Get Pinnacle Studio 12 instead. It doesn't lag even on a shitty laptop like mine.
