If you put the robot on a riser, you might be able to get rid of the fixture needed to reorientate the part. You would probably have to move the robot off the center line of the press to avoid interference issues with its own tooling though.
Fanuc's programming is very similar to Pascal computer programming. U do NOT need to know pascal. What the gentleman did here was level 1 programming from Fanuc, maybe some light level 2.
i was just wondering what language or software you use to program that? I think i heard that some some Japanese robots use a proprietary language. also i was wondering if you can get one of those to perform operations using g code

We have KUKA in my job, and sometimes it is hell to work with it. It have 1 main computer that controls KUKA and 2 sub-computers which controls transporters and other devices like pushers stopers..
You built the software program from scratch?!?! I have the need of people like you. Can this arm be taught to build wind turbines that take water from the air? that would mean it would have to know how to do electronics too.
is a nice program, i work with fanuc robotic arms myself 2 i bet it took u in the region of 6 to 8 hrs to get a program like that set up, if u an expert at that thing that is, it take me maybe 8 to ten to get it spot on
@Moujang You better be ready because every course in the entirety of the degree is very important. Don't realize how important they are only when you are already half way through and forgot a big chunk of what you've learnt.
Are the arm and the brake programmed as one?

That's awesome. I plan to get into robotics myself.
