  • hE SOUNDS ALL BIG AN RICH

  • bmw,audi and subaru

  • Audi makes only FWD or AWD. No audi has RWD. So.....take the conclusion

  • @86szs Audi is mostly AWD. They may do RWD this or next year on a coupe...a big maybe.

  • BMW ist Das bESTe , xDrive the new generation means BMW ,

    DEUTSCHLAND QUALITET !!!

  • this is a verry good explination

  • So... no drifting :(

  • @TornTech I beg to differ. Turn off DSC and drifting in an XI is plenty of fun (in snow). While DSC is on you never get wheel spin. This is coming from my experience in a Canadian winter. No matter the weather i NEVER get stuck, and I NEVER get wheel spin. Absolutely amazing.

  • the quattro comparison is obviously rigged. any 4wd will be able to pull out if the front wheel has 50% of traction. that audi A8 didn't move an inch, because it is a rwd. i hate people who cheat in videos.

  • A8...is quattro only.

  • @8motion

then explain to me, why did the front wheel fail to pull the car out? if it is quattro only, the mechanic must have tampered with the car.

  • @charieshane

I asked myself the same question, but after looking at other review on all the diff systems, it explains that the transfer to the wheel is not 100% like the bmw , hence power not sufficient to pull the car out. I have seen a video comparing the Audi Q5 vs the BMW X3 driving backwards up a steep incline 47 degrees.. the BMW was capable.. Do some search and you will find your answer. If I find some I will post it as a favorite.

  • @8motion i believe the power allocation may not be as flexible as BMW, but this 100% thing also poses some danger under some circumstances, hence the market of subaru AWD. But still, i vaguely remembered that quattro allocates up to 70% of engine output to front wheels, and when it does so the front wheel should be able to pull the car out, after all, the slope in this video is pretty flat. if you do the math, the power output of 35% of V8 will be able to move the car, considering the rear waste

  • @charieshane Audi makes only fwd or awd. No audi has rwd.

  • this thing is good for most cases, but it still loses all of it's advantages when you clime a icy uphill in a zigzag fashion, which you often times have to do

  • damn i didnt know that about xdrive...my next car would be xdrive for sure :O

  • Ever since I got my 530xd the icy and snowy roads became so much fun :) Freude am Fahren!

  • rofl

  • i learned alot...

  • BMW, Audi and Mercedes are the best!!!

  • according to you ,not 4 evry one

  • wow the end
