My French spouse was surprised when I bought a collection of Carpenters music some years back. She would have made a fine jazz singer. He was surprised I was listening to such square stuff (I'm American and older than he, live in France now) but I found the production qualities really outstanding. Thanks for this. It's fun! Thanks for uploading this special. It gives me a feeling of Christmas that I haven't had for a long time. Remembering those wonderful specials at Christmas of Andy Williams and Perry Como. Christmas wouldn't be the same without the Carpenters, nor spring, nor summer and Fall.  It ao tragic what happened to Karen. If only many could see and help prevent this tragedy. If people want to lose weight, annorexia isn't the answer, healthy eating is. Oh man, what amazing talent she had. Thanks Karen for everything!
