I don't know about the other islands, but I went for the first time to Martinique last summer(august 07), beleive it or not I think the people love compas too. at least 5 times I saw a compas video on TV, and I was only there for 3 days. some people know a lot about Alan Cave, others were looking foward to see CaRiMi there. I Know Belo doesn't sing compas, I was shock to find out they know him there too.
