I'm sorry man I just can't seem to grasp this, so for the long one: You keep your finger down on L2, hold the right and left stick in the desired direction and keep tapping Square right? But it doesn't work for me! Either he just goes the short distance, he starts firing the bow in mid-air or my finger slips off of the right stick so he stops and shoots the bow! :(

@juliettelamuria Thx, remember that after breaking the chain early...all the judges MUST be vanished. If they are just headless after breaking the chain, the glitch won't work when you get to Hermes. Important detail.

@juliettelamuria It's kinda tricky to explain tbh, all I can say is that you press X and then INSTANTLY follow it up with a severe judgement attack. I'm afraid that's the best I can explain it, it takes a bit of practice to get the optimal height. I've heard that instead of jumping over the judges head, you can instead drop down from the rope past the pandora cutscene. Not real sure if that works, I've never done it that way since it is quicker to jump over the judge's head.

@juliettelamuria There is no tutorial video that I know of, but the method is just this:

Have blades selected, jump and then keep L1 and R1 pressed down, while at the same time keep R-stick and L-stick slanted in the direction you want to go to.

@mabary76 The bow must be active when you press L2, if the boots or the head are active when you press L2 the trick WONT work. I think what you are trying to say, is that you must have ACQUIRED the boots for this to work. True, but the bow MUST be active when L2 is pressed. This is the old method of doing this trick anyway, there is an easier way that gets Kratos to go much further.

@ozman748 Make sure that you have bow selected and the whip before even starting.

The right stick stays PERMANENTLY leaned in the direction that you want to go from start to finish, as does the left one. L2 stays PRESSED DOWN PERMANENTLY the entire time without letting it go. Then just mash square in mid air, and that should do the trick.

The only button you should be moving over and over during the jump is the "Square" button.

when in the air, i have to tap the SQUARE button repeatedly and R2 pressed but do i have to keep the left & right analog sticks forward too ? because my hands are small and i can't keep the right analog forward while tapping SQUARE, i wish i had an extra finger for this lol.

@violence1234 You have to have the R-Stick moved "forwards" to make Dashing work, and the L-Stick to go in the direction you want.

I guess you might have to modify the finger positions, But the finger positions I use are:

Left Thumb: Left-Stick

Right Thumb: Right-Stick

Left index finger: L2

Right index finger: Square

@danin900 Its a pretty powerfull tool for glitching, but the good thing is its very easy to do. An easier technique compared with other "trick jumps" from GoWI and GoWII.

@GoIdLeopard Thx, ur right tho, these types of exploits are aimed more at exploit speedruns than they are at 'general cheating'. Im not using any of them to get my throught the different difficulties, I like to get through the game 'legit'. There is no point otherwise.

With regards to the weapons, you can use any of them. But the whip has better anti-gravity properties. But you can use whichever you prefer.

The second type of air dash is almost next to impossible. I would have to keep my thumb right in between the edge of the analog stick and the square button and then it would just keep slipping off.

@UncleZoid Yes, you can Jet Dash without the whip. But the whip attacks are better at keeping you from losing any height.

You could probably do it without keeping the Left stick forwards the whole time, I have not tried it. Using both sticks is a good habit to get into, because it gives you more options at parts of the game where you have to make Kratos change directions suddenly in mid air (like a fly).
