Yeah I bought this rifle and it does not shoot very far. I got it from Airsoft G.I for $240. Now I dont know if it could be the bbs that I`am using or the gun itself.

i plan on buying this gun at some point but until then i use a L96 sniper rifle and a M4A1 i only use for CQB

thats a mod 0, mod 1 is for navy and mod 0 is for army.

an mk12 mod1/0 SPR is a 'snipers' rifle that can doubble as a carbine if needed, but by no means is it for CQB.

i had this gun and i upgraded to a 10.8v battery and it is awesome only bad thing is that battery that big can get stuck and break if not careful (trust me i no^-^; )

i bought my m4 spr here in cebu phil. at justin..before i bought we test it..in semi it reach 210fps & in automatic it reach 220-230..i never change anything yet like the battery..they said battery change the ROF.

anyone has already modify their m4 spr?..

Yeah dude you're thinking of the M16 SPR and BOTH MOD.0 and MOD.1 are long, this is an M4 w/ SPR style floating handguard.

I got one here and it has a 130 spring and we calculate somewhere between more than 430 fps with .20 We got a M4 Echo1 chronoed at airsoftgi before shipping with 390 fps with .20 and the A&K was shooting stronger than Echo 1. There was a huge difference

I chronoed it (gun is from Evike) it was 400 fps with .25g bbs.

Its very acurate for a stock gun.

I was owning everyone at the skirmish during saturday. Really great gun for its price.

I bought mine at evike, you bought yours somewhere else,I fired my gun with about 5000 rounds, its equiped with a m130 (450 fps with .2g bbs) spring. Maybe the store you bought it from downgraded your gun. Every one who bought it from the evike store said it is 450 fps with .2g bbs.

If you get an M14, I suggest going with the CM.032. It is much better than he Echo-1 version and has a tightbore barrel pre-installed!

@AirsoftHawaii09 If you don't care about RPS then all you need to upgrade that gun to shoot over 400 FPS with .25's is an M125 spring and possibly a high torque motor. So 50$ total

Does any1 know the internals on this gun if there high quality or crap. Because a&k doesn't have the best rep /w their AEG's and for 200+ dollars i would like to get my money's worth. Also what is the real fps?

this gun has a reinforced steel gearset, its pretty decent

also the barrell is a 6.02mm bore, which as standard is amazing, even most upgrade barrells are only 6.03, hence its accuracy despite being short as mentioned.

id want to put a 9.6v battery in it to beef its output up a little more, which i will do soon.

You said its pretty accurate for the barrel length.. Actually, if its over 25cm long, and you change 50cm barrel to it, its not going to make it more accurate. I've seen some tests, that proove that 25cm barrel is as accurate as 50cm barrel in the same gun. It sounds weird, but its true. In real firearms it helps, but not in airsoft guns, because of that there is no grooves in the barrel and bb has some room to move sideways inside the barrel.

Yeah, Thats becuse if your barrel is that long, There is a vacume effect. Thats why most AEG's with barrels that long need Bore up kits.

I said it was accurate for the small legth it was already. The barrel isnt that long at all.

what makes this gun so accurate is the bore of the barrell, its 6.02mm bore, most stock airsoft rifles of this price are about 6.04mm so for the price the barrell is outstanding, the tightness of the barrell increases the accuracy although i dont know if they can get any tighter than 6.02 and still function properly.

Most of the aegs have stock barrel around 6.10-6.20. If its under 6.04 its tight bore then.

A guy from another local team and friend of mine got the M16 version. The metal body is amazing and there are no sqeaks compared to my JG M16. They are great guns, but I hate having a mini type battery in the full size stock.
