Resist sliding in either direction? Actually the most common use of this knot is as an ascending knot in climbing. Can't really resist in both directions if it is an ascending knot can it? And I've climbed for 14 years so I'm not some book smart schmuck spouting off. Not trying to nit pick just point it out

@f1sHx2 No. You don't. I use a prusik to tie my tarp onto my ridge-line. Selfmadesailor's video is really clear and much appreciated.
