If you get the chance, watch the documentary fat, sick and nearly dead. It shows the story of Joe Cross and a trucker changing their lives by doing a juice fast.
Your videos are great. I started juice fasting 7 days ago and I am absolutely amazed at how good I feel. The fog has lifted and I feel like I could go on indefinitely, so I'm now considering trying to go 30-60 days. My question to you is...did you take any supplements? I know you get tons of vitamins and minerals from the juice...but very low sodium and no fat or B12. I've read a lot about this but haven't seen anyone address this question. Just curious. Thanks!
Hello, I need some advice. I am on my day 4 and I am finding it extremely difficult. I am always hungry. When I drink a large juice I am always hungry just after 3 hours. I drink lots of water too. Sorry to say that I only have watery stools. I also have some dizziness and depression. Can you actually tell me exactly what you juice to feel satisfied up until your next meal? Thank you.
@Soralella71 Try adding an extra juice if you need, there is no restriction to say you only need to have 3 juices per day. Ideally you would to get to the point where you can survive on only 3 per day but heck if you need to just add another one - The dizziness and depression is most likely the cleansing (but of course I am not a doctor) - In my case it got better more and more each day - Try and hang in there !!! Good luck!
@overwhelmingtraffic Thank you very much for your suggestions. I had to give up because my bowel movements were becoming unbearable for me. At the end I was also drinking juices 5-6 times a day and I was ALWAYS hungry and always thinking and dreaming about eggs. I am happy I was able to do 4 days, at least I detoxified myself a little bit, even if was already on a sugar free diet and I am a vegetarian. You did a great job with your juice fasting. I wish I was good as you! Well done!
@Soralella71 Don't be too hard on yourself, 4 days is a VERY BIG change and you sound like you have gone onto a good thing with a sugar free diet, so well done for that - I wish you well!
@overwhelmingtraffic Well actually I was on a sugar free diet way before doing the juice fasting and I am still on it. Anyway, now I have a big healthy juice (home made of course) every morning and I LOVE IT. I also read the book you suggested. Your videos have been very helpful to me. Thank you for posting them.
@overwhelmingtraffic i just got a juicer nor to long ago ,i need to know what vegetables can i juice together that would help me lose weight as well as alot of energy. my aunt juice before and she told me not to start out with anything green because i go to school and she don't want me having uncontrollable shitting or ending up with a embrassing moment.
It looks like it has been 6 weeks since you started. Are you still doing only juicing? How much weight have you lost so far and kept off? Is this really working for you? Really interested in your results for encouragement.
@julietesterman I have completed my 56 day juice fast now and am now transitioning back to solid foods. I lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of health and other benefits - Check out my channel video for what I achieved. I am continuing to post daily/regular videos as the journey is not yet over, I have to keep the weight off. Thanks for dropping by and appreciate your support.
Hi Tim! Thanks for the reply yesterday- I was really stoked to find the organic cafe too. It made yesterday's outing a lot more stress-free. I'm still feeling really good today, a bit of heartburn but I think that's partly due to my adding a bit too much ginger to my breakfast juice. Live and learn. Heh. The water is helping with that and everything else, though. Amazed at how much better my joints, skin and gums are feeling. Talk to you tomorrow!
@iamtenstone HI thanks for dropping by and your welcome :) Great to hear you are still feeling good. Ginger will give you heartburn, I have about a thumbs size (max) when I juice, although I am not using it currently. Yep a learning experience for sure! Great to hear the water is helping and great about the overall healing effects you are feeling, gotta love the power of juicing !
@iamtenstone Hey how are you, thought I should check in and see how you are going. I cannot find your blogspot blog anymore? Is everything ok? Let me know how you are going... Hope you are well and doing fine.
Hi there, I and my hubby just got into juicing and I clicked on your video because I have become a huge fan of carrot juice. Being a grad student and trying to write papers in the middle of the surprisingly hot Minnesota summer has been made much easier with the amazing rejuvenating carrot juice. I've stuck to the concoction below because it's tasted really good. Anyways good luck to you, fellow juicer!
@zynarexx Thanks so much for your kind words and for leaving a comment. I hope you enjoy the videos I am putting together. Yes Carrot juice is nice tasting that's for sure. Great recipe. To date I have not used that much carrot in a drink but it certainly sounds nice and I think I will have to give it a try, so thanks for sharing it!
I appreciate your video diary, looking forward to turning my life around as well! On the topic of hunger... You can also feel hunger pains when your thirsty, sometimes your body simply needs hydration. Great Job!!! And once again THANKS for being an inspiration?
@brotherhamm Thanks Casey, appreciate you dropping me a line. Yes I mentioned the thirst thing in one of my videos. Thanks for the kind words and look forward to hearing some great things from you once you start this. I know you will do well!
