I'm not sure if you know that TBN along with all the false teachers, preachers appearing on their channel are a part of what is called "Prosperity gospel" or "Word of Faith movement".
This false gospel is proclaiming a false Jesus and the fact that Jesus had died to make you rich...
When the greatest gift that Jesus had ever given us, or rather procured for us, is not a car, is not a house or plenty of money in the bank, but eternal security and a cross here on earth.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, we are to seek God with our whole heart and not worry about food or clothing Jesus will provide, but as far as tithing under the gospel of grace it all belongs to Jesus Not just 10 percent, it is NOT "YOUR" hard earned money, it belongs to Jesus, everything belongs to Jesus

It always amazes me that when people dont understand something they criticize it. The Crabb Familys singing is amazing. God has blessed all of them with great voices. I dont think they are worldly but rather singing and sharing the gift that God gave them. They are only doing what God wants them to do. If they are so worldly they wouldnt be singing about the Lord. My dad recorded that song many years ago. He sang that 3rd verse as the 2nd verse (only 2 verses). Hardly any singer sings 3 verses of any song. They have to choose which 2 verses to sing.

The only word that I can think of that may be foul or consider it to be cursing is, fool or Raca. I've found in there where it says, "refrain from perverted speech," because the "f" word is very much a perverted word when you put into context where its origin came from, the original meaning, and how it's used. I love this song, and I have their CD, but it is so ironic that they sing this song in one of the "prosperity churches" that believe that Yeshua died to make them rich....
Ironic.....in addition it is broadcasted by TBN which is the poster child for prosperity...

This false gospel is proclaiming a false Jesus and the fact that Jesus had died to make you rich...

What these ppl are preaching, is a distorted ideology based on "name it or claim it, and you shall have it" of the gospel.
To trust in your faith, but all along denying the One who is the Author and Finisher of our faith.
So, no I am not against prosperity per say, just the false doctrine that trap the simple and unsuspected, compeling them to give them their hard earned money and teachin tithing which is also false.

Meant to say God helps those who help themselves. You can't sit on your behind and expect to be prosperous. You have to work, you have to live, and you have to raise your children the best you can all in accourdance to the bible or God's word. But the sad thing is this economy is about to collapse (2010) so even more good folks will be out of work, the government is trying to spin the numbers and you wonder why for?

Piece of advise.If at any one time one doesnot know anything about something, simply donot criticise it. It always amazes me that when people dont understand something they criticize it. The Crabb Familys singing is amazing. God has blessed all of them with great voices. I dont think they are worldly but rather singing and sharing the gift that God gave them. They are only doing what God wants them to do. If they are so worldly they wouldnt be singing about the Lord. My dad recorded that song many years ago. He sang that 3rd verse as the 2nd verse (only 2 verses). Hardly any singer sings 3 verses of any song. They have to choose which 2 verses to sing.

You know, what people need to understand is that this family is VERY anointed and the Word says that it is the anointing that breaks and destroys the yoke of bondage. I know that this is going to get me some hate or minuses on here, but oh well. Talented group and great message to the song. However, the Crabbs are no different than other groups when they start out in the sense that it is just a matter of time before the managers and image consultants take over. I mean Jason was all clean cut when he first started out, now him and his brothers are heavy on the hair product, facial stubble and trendy clothes. It happens to them all that way.

I did not understand him to be cursing, I believe condemning people is cursing. Why are you condemning this person, when you only see from the surface of his words. I refuse to judge the intent of this individual, in regards to (ace00789). If he/she, spoke words that may seem harsh or disrespectful to you then, I will say unto you, be strong, and be of good courage! We as people, often times make the gross mistake of taking words that people express, way out of the context, intent and the passion of their meanings. I have reviewed over all of those bible verses he does and none of which speak of the use of "swear" words, only evil speech. Swearing can be used without any evil or corruption whatsoever if you are just joking around. Jesus cursed the fig tree in case you don't remember...Yes I agree, let's be cool. This is my point exactly. "Swearing can be used without any evil or corruption whatsoever...." People label words and deemed them to be one thing or another. The only word that I can think of that may be foul or consider it to be cursing is, fool or Raca. Even when Jesus spoke of these words, He was referring to the intent of a persons heart in the word and not the word itself.

You have no idea about what the Bible says about cursing. It commands us to keep our speech pure & clean. What is in a man's heart is conveyed through his words. you don't know your bible, that's the problem. I've found in there where it says, "refrain from perverted speech," because the "f" word is very much a perverted word when you put into context where its origin came from, the original meaning, and how it's used. God is calling him unto repentance, through the lyrical content of this song, and because he uses an "expletive", in describing which may be the best way he/she can show appreciation, gratitude or approval, you all discourage him because he/ she used a word that you think is perverse!!!

God loves this individual enough to call him/her to repentance, unto salvation. I would be careful if I were you in judging him this way. God is doing a work in this persons heart, and you are getting in the way!! Let go and let God do His thing. ace00789, I will minister to you. Come to Jesus, just as you are. Surrender to him your whole life. Please don't allow the condemning words of those who would like to throw huge stones at you as you fell at the feet of Jesus while saying and "expletive". Go and sin no more, for you are much loved and welcomed, into the Kingdom of God, by the new covenant of love in Jesus Christ.
