  • Me too! I'd rather have Jesus than anything, because I have had and lost it all, but HIM!!! JESUS!!! AMEN!!!!

  • Benonbaine, Amen on that God bless you

  • love this song! they're singing the words wrong, tho... it's "or be held" instead of "than be held".... they already said "than" at the beginning of the chorus

  • maybe ive lost to much, maybe i cant work, maybe im sick in body tested hard but i still have jesus.

  • I am all Thine, and all I have is Thine Oh Most Loving Jesus.

  • Please pray for the Crab Family.... involved in a horrible accident near Charlotte, NC... with a semi truck.... 10 people injured and 2 life flighted.... please pray.

  • Please read a book.

  • I'd Rather Have Jesus.......

  • This is a beautiful message.

  • every time i come onto youtube i listen to this song over and over love it

  • this is so true

  • This family is so talented. There music is truly annointed. What a blessing!

  • I love this song, and I have their CD, but it is so ironic that they sing this song in one of the "prosperity churches" that believe that Yeshua died to make them rich....

Ironic.....in addition it is broadcasted by TBN which is the poster child for prosperity...

    Anyway...

    God bless

  • hammerandnails777 - So you are anti-prosperity I take it? To prosper or at least the idea of it seems positive to me. Poverty or the want or need to be impoverished is cool too! I guess......???

  • Mr/Ms dsmoothy1,

I'm not sure if you know that TBN along with all the false teachers, preachers appearing on their channel are a part of what is called "Prosperity gospel" or "Word of Faith movement".

This false gospel is proclaiming a false Jesus and the fact that Jesus had died to make you rich...

When the greatest gift that Jesus had ever given us, or rather procured for us, is not a car, is not a house or plenty of money in the bank, but eternal security and a cross here on earth.

  • @hammerandnails777

Without faith it is impossible to please God, we are to seek God with our whole heart and not worry about food or clothing Jesus will provide, but as far as tithing under the gospel of grace it all belongs to Jesus Not just 10 percent, it is NOT "YOUR" hard earned money, it belongs to Jesus, everything belongs to Jesus

that includes your money, ALL of your money. so be a cheerful giver.

  • continued....

What these ppl are preaching, is a distorted ideology based on "name it or claim it, and you shall have it" of the gospel.

To trust in your faith, but all along denying the One who is the Author and Finisher of our faith.

So, no I am not against prosperity per say, just the false doctrine that trap the simple and unsuspected, compeling them to give them their hard earned money and teachin tithing which is also false.

    God bless you

    Ariel

  • You are right. I do not know of or have heard of the Jesus dying for me to make me rich movement. You just came off disgruntled. Giving is cool though but I dont think God would ever want you to do without. You gotta help yourself so he will help you right? Responsibility matters. Thxs.

  • Dear dsmoothy1....

Tell that to Apostle Paul, who had counted all as dung for the knowledge of the Lord Jesus....

I wander what he will answer...

"You got to help yourself so He will help you?"

    Are you a christian..?

    You sound like a nonchristian...

We believe in TOTAL dependence on the Lord....

    God bless you

    Ariel

  • Meant to say God helps those who help themselves. You can't sit on your behind and expect to be prosperous. You have to work, you have to live, and you have to raise your children the best you can all in accourdance to the bible or God's word. I dont think it says anywhere to just hang out and its all good.

  • That is to say if prosperity is your goal in life.

    God bless

  • @dsmoothy1 God helped you before you could ever have helped your self,

many people say that but it's not biblical. But you are correct we are to occupy until Jesus returns which is where we get the word for occupation. But the sad thing is this economy is about to collapse (2010) so even more good folks will be out of work, the government is trying to spin the numbers and you wonder why for?

It will get scary stock your shelfs and save every dollar, continue to give.

  • AMEN!!!!!!!!

  • JASON

  • I love this song! Their is a girl at my church who sings this and I kinda like the way she sings it better than he does ,but still! It's a beautiful song :)

  • Jason Crabb....the rest are his siblings.

  • Please listen .This is not only to the rich but to the poor. I know so many poor people that worship money even though they have none. Jesus is the most valuable more than you could ever think or dream you should desire. Thank you Crabb Family for sharing your anointing with me.

  • what a song for our generation! in this world of wealth and prosperity (yes even now we are more blessed than 95 percent of the rest of the world), we must always be faithful. I would rather have Jesus!

  • I Love My Jesus, And Will Give Him

Praise at all times, Because He is

Worthy, And A Good God At Al Times, He has Brought Me Threw so Much, I Love You Lord.

  • My hubby and I was there during this service, it was at the Rod Parsley and friends miracle and healing service....It was an AWESOME service!!!!!!! <3

  • How long ago was this??

  • sorry I just noticed your question, this was I think in jan of 2007

  • I lOVE YOU MY LORD JESUS-CHRIST.

  • Piece of advise. If at any one time one doesnot know anything about something, simply donot criticise it. Many people didnot understand Jesus during His Ministry on earth and still donot understand Him NOW. The Crabb Family is singing a song with a very srtong message. The message in the song hits hard on the lovers of Money especially the rich. Many rich people have failed to balance their love for money and God.They are torn apart and indeed, might be in a trap.Remember, the story in Matt. 19?

  • Amen Amen Amen my brother in Christ.

  • @benonbaine

You don't have to have money to have that problem, you could be dirt poor and still have love for money, I used to be rich. I do not love this world nor the things of this world and I look forward to dying the bible says to die is gain, many christians have no desire to leave this world, they love this world and it is sad. but I have good news for true christians Jesus will be here soon, this economy is about to collapse, get ready.

  • @mrfellowship

yo uare wrong it says in bible i will come when u least expect it and to many people expect it and also people thought and said was coming back in 1984 and we are still here and there are no need for prophets anymore people who claim they are are false as everything is prophesied in the bible and am now deleting account and will no longer be back here to look at comments lol

  • @concerned1479 NO one really believes that any more, the church does even believe in Jesus anymore they gather for the sake of a social event, only a few true christians left, look around look at polls people have no religion, look at your self you are a non believer so your the proof!

  • @mrfellowship

  • @0720Whitesm a million thumbs up :0)

  • GLORY TO GOD!!!

  • It always amazes me that when people dont understand something they criticize it. The Crabb Familys singing is amazing. God has blessed all of them with great voices. I dont think they are worldly but rather singing and sharing the gift that God gave them. They are only doing what God wants them to do. If they are so worldly they wouldnt be singing about the Lord. Crabb Family, keep doing Gods work in you. God Bless you all.

  • Amen.

  • The Crabbs are wonderful

  • wow!!! now they can sing!! that song is so beautiful! =)

  • Thank you for this Blessing Jesus I came just in time.

    OQ

  • you're a sick man.

  • I Will Avenge ALL who SUGGEST The Crabbs ARE ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY!!!! But NOW I must have some EGGYBREAD!! BUT, I Will Return!!! SOON!!

  • People, the next time you hear this song sung, ask yourself why they don't sing the third verse of this song. There is a third verse. It goes something like this....

He is more fairier than lilies of rarest bloom,

more sweeter than honey from out of the comb,

He is all my hungering spirit needs,

I rather have Jesus and let Him lead.

See now you know why they don't sing it.

I'm not just talking about the Crabb Family, just any body that sings this song.

Just trying to make you think.

  • I didn't know there was a third verse but now you have me looking for it Thanks

  • Thanks for posting that.

My dad recorded that song many years ago. He sang that 3rd verse as the 2nd verse (only 2 verses). Hardly any singer sings 3 verses of any song. They have to choose which 2 verses to sing.

  • I would rather have jesus too :)

    amen hommies

  • beautiful, expressive singing, brings tears to the eyes! Praise and Glory be to God! Forevermore! Amen!

  • I wonder they are really like off stage?

  • I love this song... It does something to my spirit.... I rather have jesus in my life.... In these times we have to hold on to god.

  • wonderful great words canot describe this its wonderful

  • you don't even know them? ow can you say that??

  • "Apologist" that figures. You know, the bible says not to be petty, and judgmental.

  • right there with mike english sings like its hes last time

  • his name is Jason i forgot but he was younger when they started singin but now hes much older

  • if u see the lead in other videos he looks different prolly cuz he was in his mid 20's in this video he has to be in his 30's

  • he was around about 16-18 when he started singing w/ his dad...

NOW he's 31 (March 3, 1977)...and this was a couple years ago, so you were pretty close! :-)

  • blessed man amen

  • this dude blows like a hurricane......unreal the voice God has given this guy

  • Okay, yeah, this is definitely better than the Michael English version...not that's his was bad...it was amazing...but this is just...words can't describe...what a voice...

  • we will all stand naked before the Lord one day,

not without cloths, but Jesus sees the inner man or woman, I love the annointing on the Crab family, it blesses and builds people up.

  • it seems that yall are implying that u half to be dressed up an at a church to worshap the lord?church i s any where that 2 or more is gathered to worshop the lord. ive had church write next dore in my grandmas house a many of time!Dressing nicely is somthing that is expected at any public event, weddings, funerals, dance, and public church services.

  • WEARS on his face! And, well, whoever you are criticizing the clothes, you can wear a nice shirt and tie, a suit, a tuxedo, nobody's trying to hear you SING!

  • Bottom line- Those brothers can sing! I don't think the Lord cares what you're wearing when you bless his name, as long as your apparel does not counter the message. I love hearing the Crabb family, and the joy and the passion that guy w

  • You know, what people need to understand is that this family is VERY anointed and the Word says that it is the anointing that breaks and destroys the yoke of bondage. I don't care what anyone says, it doesn't matter how talented anyone is, the question to ask is, Do they have God's stamp of approval (the anointing) upon them as does The Crabb Family?

  • does it matter if they wear "trendy clothes" at least their preaching the Good News of the Lord through their music.

  • Please check out The Maynard Family. Thank you

  • "Do not feed the trolls"

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

  • flamers wish to upset and offend other members of the forum, in which case they can be called "trolls". Most often however, flames are angry or insulting messages transmitted by people who have strong feelings about a subject.

  • if you know this is going to generate negative controversy & "bash" someone, that says a lot about yourself. What they do with themselves externally is irrelevant, what you are doing to judge & analyze them negatively is to stir up dissension. Now that is a big time sin. How about if we analyze you & yourself externally? Give it up

  • God looks at the heart of man to judge them not their clothes, what they wear or how they look is of little importance.

  • molcinrocks needs to meet someone in person before he talks about them. Jason Crabb has had more secular contract offers than you could even image. he is one of the most amazing people ive ever met. he is so talented and still so down to earth. meet him and talk to him and you will change your mind i promise.

  • At least you were not as hateful as so many other christians are to me on here. Or I should say so-called christians! I have learned that fans of these groups get really touchy when you write something remotely close to negative about them! I mean it's so nice we have so many nice christians on here, huh??????????????

  • seriously guys sin or no sin swearing isn't what jesus would want ! my question is when you stand before God in heaven would you dare to utter a foul word before him? it isn't a sin i know but it aint good!

  • Praise the Lord for this family, what a Blessing they are to the thousands who are listening and watching. May the Lord continually bless them and the person who owns this video, THANK YOU. I pray that the Lord will USE you in a MIGHTY WAY. THANK YOU JESUS!

  • truely a wonderful song and done greatly with a strong anointing. a blessing to watch thank you for posting. if you enjoy anointed singing please check out The Maynard Family. God bless you.

  • To those of you trying to justify sin, the bible says if you know to do good and do it not, it is sin unto you. Once you experience the goodness of the Lord Jesus and see His glory then you will want to give up things of this world for Him. I am amazed by and so in love with Jesus.

  • I'm not justifying sin, I'm glad to know.

  • i think if theres correcting hopefully its kind nice with some TLC & also.. excuses for what ever was done never helps anyone grow in Christ & i know i want all my sister/brothers to grow in grace & maybe you didn't know you did something & its ok but i hope once you realize it you can learn to accept & correct it with the strength of Jesus & maybe im harsh here but i love the family of God & all i want is for all of us to grow even me! anyway i love you all & Jesus loves us all too God Bless!

  • In all this let me ask everyone else if in the bible k listing? "if" in the bible someone said the F word... 1# would Jesus say anything to them would Jesus correct them scold them or ask them why they say such things 2# "or" would Jesus not say anything at all & ignore it & let it go on & maybe walk away? 3# "or" would he say its ok and allow them to do it true followers of Christ follow what Jesus would do so let me ask you what would Jesus do? think real hard on it and decide with a reply ok?

  • I would refer you to the woman who was caught in adultery ( John 8:2-11) When the "Religious Self Righteous" caught her in the very act of breaking the law, "THEY" wanted to stone her to death but, what did Jesus do? #1 Did Jesus say anything to her or to the Pious Self Righteous? #2 Did Jesus ignore it and let it go? and who was it who walked away?

    them, and let it go?

  • klekle84: Please disregard my error (them, and let it go?), meant to erase it, ran into a computer glitch. Continuing now... #4 How did Jesus handle this situation? did he correct harshly or lovingly to the woman who stood in front of him when caught sinning? What example did Jesus leave us, concerning His grace?

  • Your question was a "No Thinker" Scripture is simply very clear in the example Jesus Christ left us, in how to we should behave in correcting or witnessing to a convert.

  • "they" were doing it with anger & cruelty Jesus corrected with love & TLC thats who we should follow I'm not saying anyone here was angry/cruel I'm only saying what the bible says on how we should correcte also I would hope when she heard Him she would realiz her sin was wrong & commit trying to stop cuz she wants to plz the Lord I'm also not saying that anyone here doesn't do this I'm saying both sides to the biblical story with love so that everyone can learn something incase they didn't know

  • klekle84: i agree.

  • well bless you heart finaly we have come to an equal understanding :) God is good isnt He? yes He is! :) amen and God Bless us all!

  • please check out The Maynard Family. God bless you

  • so anointed like The Maynard Family God bless him

  • Pretty fuckin cool.. Don't like country tho... sry. lol

  • Why are you cursing?

  • I believe that Jesus looked beyond his faults and understood the needs and the words of this individual , when you condemned him be you believed he cursed. I did not understand him to be cursing, I believe condemning people is cursing. Why are you condemning this person, when you only see from the surface of his words. Welcome this person and love on him, as would Jesus Christ. Do you yet not understand? (Mark 8 :21)

  • What makes you think I was condemning the person, don't come to me with scripture if you don't know the whole deal...

  • You ought to be ashamed of yourself. Very serious when you are not taking God serious especially when you think it is funny. Borderline mocking God. May you repent!!!!

  • May your mother~~

  • I refuse to judge the intent of this individual, in regards to (ace00789). If he/she, spoke words that may seem harsh or disrespectful to you then, I will say unto you, be strong, and be of good courage! We as people, often times make the gross mistake of taking words that people express, way out of the context, intent and the passion of their meanings. The word of God judges correctly these areas of our hearts, (Hebrews 4:12) I appreciate the honest expression of ace00789.

  • Sounds like you are defending & or condoning foul language. If so I can also use Scripture to support such as Eph 5:4

Discernment & judging are 2 different things.

  • I looked at it, has nothing to do with foul language. Next please!

  • I mean no harm in any of my expressions.

  • i was praying and waiting for you to show up. First, you are a breath of fresh air to me, because of your honest expression, in regards to this song. As a matter of fact, I echo the sentiments. I believe that you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and to God, be all the glory!! We all grow at different levels of maturity in this walk, and what one may consider to be perverse, may not be considered to be perverse to another.

  • I believe that scripture and NOT the opinions of culture, or Christian background in way of traditions, should be the final arbitration on what is right or wrong. Like I said earlier that, God judges intent of the heart. I believe that the Holy Spirit leads in all of our ways, when we acknowledge Him.

  • If you have not already done so, I will refer you to look at the series called "Is cussing a sin??" Go to "NYTN" on You Tube. And get into the dialogue. We all have so much to learn while in the Believers walk of faith. I have not obtained the goal, so I strive daily.

  • LOL... I did assume you to be a baby, my bad. I just hope that people will learn to handle situations with gentleness and respect, and not interrupt a move of God, if there was one who might be reaching out to him. You were useful for this, as an example. God bless, Grace and Peace

  • I once had an argument with a 65 year old man who performs white magick and wanted to see new-testament proof that it is still a sin. I will look for a link to his site, and maybe we can straighten this misunderstood man out, y'know? U want to try it?

  • Always ready to refute the untruth. Sure, I will try it, as the Lord leads, I will follow.

  • I have reviewed over all of those bible verses he does and none of which speak of the use of "swear" words, only evil speech. Swearing can be used without any evil or corruption whatsoever if you are just joking around. Jesus cursed the fig tree in case you don't remember...Yes I agree, let's be cool. I'm still very curious about this topic. If you find anything, please let me know.

  • This is my point exactly. "Swearing can be used without any evil or corruption whatsoever...." People label words and deemed them to be one thing or another. The only word that I can think of that may be foul or consider it to be cursing is, fool or Raca. Even when Jesus spoke of these words, He was referring to the intent of a persons heart in the word and not the word itself.

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • I believe ANY one word can be a sin if you use it against someone. U see?

  • some people are just like that...

  • Not a bad thing to say the fucking "f" word. The Bible never said anything about bad words. There is no such thing as bad words. I don't like to take God's name in vain however...That I absolutely know IS a sin. Thank you.

  • You have no idea about what the Bible says about cursing. It commands us to keep our speech pure & clean. What is in a man's heart is conveyed through his words. Taking the Lord's name in vain is a sin as well as calling yourself a Christian & using foul language is equivalent. All we ask on these sites is to keep your comments in good taste.

  • Why do you again judge ME, this time, and you do not Know me, of what I may, or may not know about the Holy Scriptures, concerning "cursing". I study, and teach diligently Gods word, by the power of the HOLY GHOST! to many nationalities. I come to you in love and not contempt. I appreciate your views on respectful comments, however, I believe that people speak and tell lies, in what may seem, very appropriate, on these sites.

  • you don't know your bible, that's the problem. I've found in there where it says, "refrain from perverted speech," because the "f" word is very much a perverted word when you put into context where its origin came from, the original meaning, and how it's used. So yes, it's very perverted and it's cursing.

  • I am not claiming to be an etymologist, however, being a former English teacher, I do Know a thing or two about language, some origins of some words, critical thinking, and contextual reading. When ace00789 used, what you put as, the"F" word, did he not mean to say that the song in which, apparently ministered to him, was good for him, i.e. cool?

  • Do you lack understanding, yourself? In all of the sites that ace00789 visits, God lead him to this one. He found the song to be "intensely cool". God is calling him unto repentance, through the lyrical content of this song, and because he uses an "expletive", in describing which may be the best way he/she can show appreciation, gratitude or approval, you all discourage him because he/ she used a word that you think is perverse!!!

  • God loves this individual enough to call him/her to repentance, unto salvation. I would be careful if I were you in judging him this way. God is doing a work in this persons heart, and you are getting in the way!! Let go and let God do His thing. ace00789, I will minister to you. I am no better than you for I am a "Raggamuffin", in need of Gods grace as well.

  • Come to Jesus, just as you are. Surrender to him your whole life. Please don't allow the condemning words of those who would like to throw huge stones at you as you fell at the feet of Jesus while saying and "expletive". Go and sin no more, for you are much loved and welcomed, into the Kingdom of God, by the new covenant of love in Jesus Christ.

  • Before one cleans a fish, he must "First" catch it!!
