I had two ovens with the plastic dome. They start to turn brown and degrade over time. I bought additional domes over the life of two ovens but I can certainly see the benefit of having the easy clean, non porous glass dome. If it takes a few more minutes than the Nuwave in this test preformed so be it.

I bought my Nuwave Oven about a month ago and I use it almost everyday. The meat really does come out juicier and it cooks much faster than my conventional oven. And the Nuwave oven cost less than the Flavorwave!

Love your video. I just got my nuwave about a week ago and I LOVE IT!!!! I have used it everyday since. I just cooked 2 pork roast on 1 hour and they were frozen they came out moist and cooked through. I am so happy I purchased it.

Hey Eperce, Thanks for posting your comparing video's of the ovens, I still intend on purchasing one of them, I am still having a constant battle of which I want to invest in. The reason is I seen that the Nuwave seems to help the food be more juicer, but The Flavorwave has a glass dome, over all I would lean more on the Nuwave if it had a glass dome. When it comes to cooking I do prefer cooking with Glass over Plastic. Plus if your careful wit glass, it would last longer then plastic.

@bostero1 well she is deaf and didn't like mushrooms. She really didn't hear me bc I wasn't looking at her when I asked her the question. But I love her and even though she dissed my mushrooms at least she tried one. She hates mushrooms. :)

I bought the NuWave about three years ago and I was crazy (happy) about it. But... the dome cracked ...so I bought a Flavorwave. They work pretty much the same way but I love the Flavorwave because I can roast veggies ( whatever) in the bottom of the glass bowl without having to worry about the plastic cracking. They are both good...except the NuWave dome is not what it's 'cracked up' to be. (Get it?) NuWave needs to build a better dome. JMHO

Sorry, just saw your 'thank you' response. I've had the NuWave for this last 7 months and have dropped another 40 lbs...these machines ROCK! Like eating out in a fine dining establishment. I have a Thane Flavorwave deluxe..it has a plastic dome...Its awesome. I use it all the time. I like that I can take frozen meat cook it 30 minutes and its perfect everytime. The plastic dome however after many mny uses tends to crack..so I noticed they have changed the product..instead of a plastic dome they have a glass bowl. Mine appears to be bigger too..it is still a great asset in the kitchen. Thanks for your video!!!

Hello Eperce!! Can you comment on your experience with the dome for the Nuwave cracking? It is the only complaint I keep coming across and am wondering how long you have used your oven and if I should be worried.

@lisayang00, any time you cook, broil fish you will get an odor. Hopefully you use good seasoning to get a great odor. After all that is what it is about. I don't think the odor is as bad because you aren't cooking or baking for the length of time on the Nuwave as with a traditional oven.
