and sad, powerful and gentle...he was the father of Eurgene Onegin and Lensky..

opposite sides of the romantic spectrum. His lyrics are melancholy but not without

hope and Maestro Feht's multicolored music pits stunning drama and fate against delicate lyricism and wistful introspection. Very compelling compos-
