These Toyota tundras, 2005, and anywhere from 2000-2006 tundras look better than the tundras from 2007 - 2012. I'm only talking about the front end. But all Tundras look very nice from side view.
When you go from sitting in a Silverado and a TrailBlazer everyday to sitting in a Corolla, you notice a BIG difference in interior quality. Chevy does not make very good interiors lol. Windows don't close properly, doors don't hinge right all the time on our extended cab Silverado, you go to the Corolla and the interior is perfect. Had to have a lot of the electricals replaced on both Chevy vehicles, not a thing done to the Corolla, which is older than both Chevys.
wow i love to hear that roar first thing in the morning on my 2002 Toyota Tundra it rocks and i have loved it since i bought it brand new and the 2011 Honda Pilot well it sucks compared to that baby
@jaguarnumber9 That was the starter disengaging, our Sequoia does that sometimes, its nothing to worry about, the 4.7l is a really bullet proof engine!
I know somebody that loves this truck so dearly and he couldn't think of parting with it, and it is so clean, despite the fact he goes mudding with it.
They are asking about $3000 too much. It might run a long time, but it probably won't last that long. The Tundra and Tacoma have problems with the frame rusting through. That makes it un-tough.
I was at the dealership a couple of weeks ago to look at a used Explorer that was advertised. It was already sold, so the salesman showed me a used Sequoia instead. I told him I would be concerned about frame rust. He admitted the trucks have rust problems, but he said the Sequoia frames don't rust out.
@Greg9942 No the Sequoia frames dont rust out nearly as quick. It would be an average number of years to rust out its frame. It as with the 4runner, have MUCH thicker frames and fully boxed ones. Our 01 sequoia has no rust on it, and my 88 4runner has no rust. Both has thick fully boxed frames, So the Sequoias, dont worry about it, NOTHING will go wrong with it anytime soon, other than sceduled maintnace.
@Greg9942 the Toyota that have rust problems are 2003 and lower and the double cab (as shown) was not made until 2004 so no way they have rust...plus the ones that do have rust are T100s and Toyota "pickup" from the 80s-90s
PLUS the rust is not all the trucks, they only affected 110,000 trucks, AND they where recalled by Toyota
PLUS Toyota has a lifetime warranty on there frames for rust so.....
That's sort of true, but not really. Toyota had another rust recall this year. This one was for rust in the vans that can cause the spare tire to fall off. This was at least the second recall on vans for rust like that.
If you will check you may find that Toyota has silent recalls for a number of trucks for rust, and some are fairly new trucks. That includes the Tundra, T-100, and Tacoma. I think Greg was saying he would rather have a truck that didn't rust in the first place.
@Greg9942 well acctually that was only on the 2000 to 2003 or first generation and i own a 2002 Tundra has never been garage kept and no problem with the frame. actually about a month ago Toyota sent me a letter that gave me the chance to get treatment for that problem. well i toook my Tundra to the local Toyota dealer and they said i had little no rust at all. i even looked at the frame and there was very little. i bought it brand new and my bros 2000 ram has a rotted frame sooo......
I have a tundra and that is too pricy. The frame looked good on this truck unless they sprayed that quick undercoat stuff on their to hide the rust. My truck is an 00 with 155K and the frame looks pretty rusty. Already have 2 crossmembers that need to be replaced pretty soon. Toyota knows about my truck so I'll wait and see if something is done about it after the gas pedal recall is done and over with.
That back window feature is definitely unique. Glad you pointed it out, it's something that someone looking for a car would probably miss when they were looking through the car.
Yeah it's much nicer with the leather accents and wood trim. My mom's sequoia felt nothing like this, it felt finished better, but I guess it's a truck, not meant to be a luxury suv
I like that the whole rear windows goes down instead of a small center portion like on most trucks.

this Tundra is weird
first it has color bumper and front end...that only comes in the Limited edition, this is the SR5 model
second, it has power seats and power radio buttons on the steering wheel also only on the limited or TRD package
and third...hes asking WAY to much, maybe if it was a Limited its worth that or more, but this is close to basic as they get lol
thehulk3010 1 year ago
@thehulk3010 it could have been custom ordered like that though.

Pig That truck is worth every penny of its asking price. They run forever and very tough little trucks.
rootbeerfan6 2 years ago
@rootbeerfan6 BIG trucks, you mean. LOL
Anyway, the 2 trucks I would ever have would be the Toyota Tundra Limited (basically a pickup truck Lexus), and a V6 Toyota Tacoma.

@Greg9942 That's odd you say that, because I'm almost sure the frame the Sequoia uses is the same one used in the Tundra DoubleCab.
The earlier Tundras, 99-04, didn't come in a crew cab. The crew cab model was only introduced in 2004.
