My computer doesn't recognize the camcorder with the usb. Moviemaker does not recognize analog. The digit camcorder goes to a capture device, but it does not convert to a digital format. So this video does not solve my problem.

This program people is garbage...If you were thinking like me that maybe you can take all those store bought VCR tapes that you spend big money on and never use anymore and convert to DVD and make your old collection worth watching again like i said forget it. I went over this program to make the best converted DVD And the quality came out worse then the original VHF copy...Your takeing one giant step backwards buys this program people..Plus who wants to convert records to a WMA file...not me

Hi i have a AMILO Pro 2000 laptop without a dvd burner and i dont even have a working vhs recorder. If i buy a External DVD Burner and a VHS from ebay. Can i connect them to my laptop and copy my tapes? Please help

For example if I want to transfer the program ``Supernanny'' from VHS to DVD, if I choose capture video and play on VCR, will that capture it to the PC. The program is about 50 minutes without commercials. Will it play in real time?

@essentialeugene Dont bother my friend this program is garbage...i have a sweet collection of VCR tapes in good shape and after knowing the program in detail i make a few converted copies to DVD and the quality came out worse then the original VCR copy...its like taking a giant step backwards....man i should have known better

what if instead of running the vhs throught the camcorder, could you plug the vcr into the newer computers with the cable outports on the back. will that work?

Except when they tell you to do things incorrectly or in a dangerous manner and I've found many such videos from them.....In otherwords never take their DIY advice on anything that involves use of flammible materials, power tools or machinery including lawn mowers to automobiles because they'll kill someone.
