It's the intimidation factor. With that Kevin Conroy voice, Batman is one scary dude, and Martian Manhunter doesn't want to test the Dark Knight. Yeah, he's immensely powerful, and could likely take down Batman with little effort. However, the fact is, if Batman has his mind set on something, he's going to find a way to make it happen, and J'onn does not want to oppose him when he is in that mindset. Plus, how many times is Batman wrong when it comes to investigative work?

This however didnt stop when Batman got captured by Zod's people, Batman couldnt do shit in Doomsday, couldnt hurt a fly in in about any other book or episode that wasnt specifically about him. Hes only good when the writers say so.

Batman could say 'go there', but if somebody like Superman (who in the intro stands in front for a reason) told the entire league otherwise. Though Bats would be mad, the league always followed Superman. So Martian got balls.

It's the intimidation factor. With that Kevin Conroy voice, Batman is one scary dude, and Martian Manhunter doesn't want to test the Dark Knight. Yeah, he's immensely powerful, and could likely take down Batman with little effort. However, the fact is, if Batman has his mind set on something, he's going to find a way to make it happen, and J'onn does not want to oppose him when he is in that mindset. Plus, how many times is Batman wrong when it comes to investigative work?

@solanoguz Batman maybe smart. But thats only in terms of technique and technology. He has defeated super power enemies, generally in stupid ways because the writers were fans of Batman. This however didnt stop when Batman got captured by Zod's people, Batman couldnt do shit in Doomsday, couldnt hurt a fly in in about any other book or episode that wasnt specifically about him. Hes only good when the writers say so.

@solanoguz Hes just barely the leader of the Justice League. he makes the plans and tells people where to go, but most Superheroes in JLU didnt really respect him for who he was, just that hes Batman, the leader. They all thought they could kick his ass with their powers. Batman could say 'go there', but if somebody like Superman (who in the intro stands in front for a reason) told the entire league otherwise. Though Bats would be mad, the league always followed Superman. So Martian got balls.

So Batman has all these powers and begins to go all over the globe fixing every problem to where he becomes intoxicated and obsessed with having Superman's power. Nightwing interviens and Batman almost ends up killing him. The JLA try and take him down as well...Its a good story.

There was no bluff to it, only the resolve to lose his life if it came to that. Batman would fight Darksied with every bit of his strength, even if it was hopeless. He has true courage. Nothing about him is really that special. That's why people love him. That's why he's better. He bested Darksied that day, and you only deny it to hug Superman's nuts.

Can find kryptonite even though it took Lex Luthor a trip around the world to get his first piece of. Can disappear for no reason, because the writers want him to. Seems to know everything generally before somebody says something, and is never wrong.
Superman used to be able to push moons out of orbit with kryptonite in him. Now he can beaten up by Wonder Woman.

In Batman TAS Superman basically got owned by a piece of kryptonite in a baggy. Yet, in Superman Returns, Superman picks up an island full of kryptonite and threw it into the sun. Batman writers especially those of Frank Miller, find anyway to show Superman as bad, so that Batman can be good.
