Hey man great video, I am considering buying this after christmas. What is the max screen size you think this could strech to? Also have you had problems or dislikes about it? Thanks!
@VancouverTriplePlay The only dislikes I've really had with this projector is the speaker isn't all that great on it. I've always used a sound system with it, and just so you know there is no seperate audio out on the projector. So you better make sure you have a good setup for sound(In my opinion of course). The other problem is the picture quality when using a regular composite a/v cable. I definetly suggest using a HDMI cable. The biggest I've used the projector was at about 120". Looked Great.
@sonicwashere I have a seperate sound system for it I was going to to use anyway, so thats fine. I will also be using an HDMI cable. Thanks for the help man, I cant wait to get mine!
I bought the EX 3200, i was very unhappy with the quality.... so i took it back and got the EX 5200 on sale and was really pleased with the difference. Nothing like watching a action packed movie on a 120" screen in the comfort of your own home!
If you are using a ps3 hook it up through hdmi then plug the red white and yellow cable into the back. You will have both cables plugged into the back. Go into the ps3 settings and select for multiple audio outs. Now hook up the red and white cable to some speakers. I also have an adapter that turns the red and white cables into a 1/8 male jack which can plug into my stereo. This way you can hook up speakers if it's not on a sound system.
how did you hook up your sound? my projector plays the sound in the main menu but once i start the game, sound disappears. do you have it externally set up?
@mantziosaurus You could do that ,but if you have a separate sound system like I have you can use the regular AV cable and use it for sound. You can have the sound go through the AV cable and the video go through the HDMI cable. (You can change all of this in the menus)
Thanks I was leaning towards the EX7200 until I saw this video, @ about $80 more it doesn't seem like it suffers much from the compression of 1080... The native aspect ratio on this one is 4:3 1024x768 vs the Ex7200 @ 16:10 1280x800
Hmm still a tough decision is $80 worth possibly a very slightly crisper image?
@Bdubslawman Depends what your gonna use it for. Since the EX5200 can be resized to 16:9 and the aspect ratio can be (1080 by 1920) I'd say it really is up to you. If you got the extra money it might not be a bad idea to spend the extra money even if the EX7200 is only a little better.

@mantziosaurus Yeah I have mine hooked up to a sound system. Just as a question are you playing it on a PS3 or an XBOX 360?

@sonicwashere on my ps3. i have my hdmi settings on automatic not manual so i probably dont even get it up to 1080i as well
