  • I could imagine that guy surfing........

  • This pedal is shit.

  • what is that song he playing at 531 its an intro to a song i cant remamber the name

  • very informativ. thanks dude!

  • Just awsome!! those channels will give me time to decide whenever you want a clean sound or dirty sound in a middle of a jam.

  • Awsome combo with guitar and pedal great tone

  • Super presentation without stupid masturbations young amateurs.

  • lol, look at his ears

  • this guy suck playing guitar.... xD the pedal is cool though

  • Just what I was thinking :) He's probably a great guy. He's not just a great guitar player.

  • @Ram0nZarate

whatch some old vids, he shredds. and leo rising is epic.

  • @Telebiters He's actually pretty good, he just can't do rhythm guitar

  • where's your video bigmouth?

  • dan agosto... i like him.... :L

  • Overdrive is a type of distortion. Digitally added distortion is not achieved with gain. Overdrive is the purest method of distorting your signal. It sounds the best. If you like to chug, you just need MORE overdrive. The distortion on a JCM200 is just very high voltage, low impedance overdrive, and you can crank the gain about 3/4 of the way up and it is adequate for hardcore and metal.

  • buy when you wan't a really dirty distortion, and like playing garage 60's rock then you go to ebay and search vintage fuzz, then your on youre own (i own a fuzz factory for it's variety of sounds, a dallas arbiter fuzz face and a shin-ei companion fuzz)

  • Overdrive basically means that the amplifier is pushed to over the line where it can produce a clean sound. Back in the day people cranked their amps so they could produce overdrive. Distortion has a lot more gain.

  • All, i am new to electric guitar. Can anyone say , what is the use of Overdrive in electric guitar ????? What exactly is Overdrive ???? Because i feel distortion same as Overdrive.. What exactly is the difference between Overdrive & distortion ??? PLease help. Thanks in advance.

  • Overdrive is some kind of distortion, but its not so strong like dist. Distortion u can hear in metal songs, overdrive in rock, for example Eric Clapton. Electric guitar is made to be distorted :P

  • hi Akumushadow. thanks for ur help. It really helped. But friend, what is compression ? Can u tell me how it is used in electric guitar ? wats the use of compression in electric guitar ? thanks in advance .

  • Compression's functionality is to control the highs and lows that come out of your guitar for a more "controlled " sound.

  • if your wondering about effects the best way to find out is to try it for yourself

  • overdrive is the kind of distortion you get when u krank tub amps unlike distortion which i call synthetic distortion

  • Really, overdrive is just the harmonic distortion that occurs when one gain stage is overloading the circuit in the next gain stage, whether these gain stages are tubes or transistors. The majority of OD pedals under 300 bucks are a transistor driving a transistor, and then there is the method of rolling back the gain but turning up the output level, and actually overdriving your amp. The other "distortion" is just digitally added simulation, usually achieved with clipping diodes, and that sucks

  • distortion pedals usualy give you a realy heavey metal sound and it kinda has a trash sound. overdrive is like distortion but it has more of a warm feeling and is not as agressive sounding

  • I love it when people say those things, without own video's seeing them playing.

  • How transparent would you rate this as compared to say the Xotic RC or BB?

  • how much, the cost?

  • hah it's Polish brand

  • Tiens! Revoilà le gros pec!

  • ty all for your replies, i think ill go with a fender strat standard for starters

  • yeah ur truss rod cover is on the other way nice :D

  • it's also a fireburst , special finish with flowerpot fret markers

  • i think your truss rod is on backwards

  • Fantastico!

  • what type/model electric guitar should i get to get started?

  • I'd say get something that feels good to play, I would recommend a fender strat standard, or the epiphone les paul standard.

    Both pretty cheap!

  • yah id say get a mexican made fender strat. I wouldnt recomend getting a really cheep epiphone but some epiphones are ok

  • Yeh or a Yamaha Pacifica! Theyre really good for their price, around £100 ($200)

I started with a Squire Strat, and had a Les Paul Epiphone - which was very good but not that cheap.

Strats and Pacificas are a safe bet tho

  • 100 euros is more like 145 american dollars actually.

  • Well done but i clearly said £'s (Pounds) not Euro's :)

  • Haha whoops! That's what happens when I try to be smart.

  • pacifica! pacifica!!

  • dont get yourself in the mind et you need a brand new guitar, take the dosh you would of spent on a new guitar and you might be able to get a much better one second hand!

  • only if it's damaged or someone's stupid enough to lower the price of aged good guitar that's been taken care of..

  • his truss rod cover is upsidedown

  • if you look, it still reads "standard" in the correct direction. His Les Paul is a "Limited Edition Standard", so Gibson makes several things on those kinds of guitars different than the regular standards. The inlays for instance, are far different.

  • this guy´s always saying " good people " at his channel , anyway nice vid and guitar playing is awesome too

  • how much costs that pedal? and the guitar? I love it <3

  • I really really really like that guitar !!!

  • i just watched the daily show , dave looks nothing like that guy.

  • I'd like this thing for Bass. jay

  • I'm not a fan of the tone coming out of that thing personally. But it looks versatile for someone that does like it.

  • Hey dude, was that you playing with Hall and Oates on the Daily Show???

  • no that was not me - interesting though as another person asked me the same thing - take care

    DT

  • saludos desde argentina.. sus videos son de gran ayuda

  • isn't that really only 5 possibilites with a two channel amp? Clean channel with bypass ,dirty, then lead, or overdrive and then three options on the pedal, no bypass? I'm just wondering. Anyway, Nice pedal, good clip, Thanks David.I guess I'll have to go to their website to check out the price.

  • not to sound negative :) but you have more than 11 minutes here. they changed it some year ago or 6months ago. thanks for the vids anyway! :)

  • you've got beter at presentation my friend. your strait forward now! and you show us the sound of wat ur presenting.

  • can you do some for weird noise making effects

  • Glab rox ;] greetings from Poland ;]

  • DAAAVE I LOVE YOU DONT LEAVE ME AGAIN! That's a cool pedal by the way, brah

  • cool pedal, but doesnt look durable near the foot switch area. A little too small for wild stomps.

  • @Zwikster all tough it looks fragile it's actually very durable!

  • i have a cheap behringer multifx and think'll trade up to a decent one like that.

  • calibrate your monitor noob......... It looks good on my (and 90% of everyone else's) computer.

  • @kep67

This is a music video, the music and what he's telling us is what matters not whether his shirt clashes with the background. Rock on Dave ! great video

  • in love with ur guitar :O

  • nice pedal

  • sweet shit man

  • first! (i know its annoying) no really though, what would be the best distortion pedal for blues under 160?

  • Check out the Twin Tube Classic.

  • Twin Tube Classic is the best overdrive pedal on the market

  • I like Ibanez TS9 Tubescreamers for under 160. For 180, get the TS808 re-issue, which sounds amazing!

  • The Boss Blues Driver is actually really good. try it out.

  • how about the super sd-1 super overdrive is it good
