  • how many of these awful things must you guys make?

  • Now before you click "SPAM", click the link and try the stuff Its a mod we use in multiplayer through dosbox IPX. It is called VERY DIFFICULT CHOICE MODIFICATION and is in my opinion much better than the regular Moo! It might be slightly weird to the mod since techs have been altered and stuff, but it is much more balanced and fun!

  • Hey Ramond, are you nude ô_o ?

  • i run my moo2 in dos box

  • I agree MOO III does suck.. Why don't you all just download a free illegal copy from a torrent

  • Why does it suck?

  • @MoaiMaea Because it's difficult to learn how to play. I don't have time to spend houre on learning how to play some stupid game. I prefer MOO II.

  • Huh? Isn't MOO II as complex?

  • @MoaiMaea uh.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

and I'm not sure about Ramond but I'm definitely nude :-)

  • This video was made 3 years ago but today you can buy MOO 1 + 2 digital download for $6 at sites like "Good Old Games" and it is DRM free, works flawlessly with Windows 7, etc. I love tech.

  • Just copy all contents of the disk into a folder on your harddrive, and click on the setup or install file from the folder on your hard drive, then you won't ever "wear out a disk" again.

  • Hahahah this is what I'll be like when I'm your age. Yeppers, I want to install my Sins of a Solar Empire but I can't find a copy!

  • He's NAKED

  • hey dude! i think i know the problem ur having. u need to go onto the disk itself and go into the directX folder and get "DPLAY.DLL" and put it into the file you installed it at. it (for some odd reson) doesnt install that on XP and vista. ^^ and yes moo3 sucks horrably...never played moo1 tho <.< anyways...try that and see if it works ^^ nice to know other ppl hate moo3 lol

  • this is me in 40 years

  • LOLZ!

sorry mate, but uh... play MOO (1).

  • oh really, Thats good to know, Thanks

Did u have to do anythhing special to get it to work

  • I found a method of connecting very simply over dosbox if your interested...people love this shit online.

  • its a pity there is no moo2 style browsergame, roundbased and free to play online everywhere (browser)... that would be coooool.

  • I have the original MOO2 and it works fine on my windows XP. You're right though, MOO3 sucks.

  • works fine for singleplayer on XP, but you'll need DOSBOX v0.7 to multiplay.

check masteroforion . blogspot . com

  • I finally got a new copy of the game and It works fine on my XP. I happened to catch one that hadn't been bid on and only had 10 minutes to go. Grin.Got it for about 14 bucks. Snigger, snigger.

  • @raymondh3030 I ended up buying it as a digital download sometime back. It works real good and no worries about scratching up a disk anymore! lol This game is really good, it has been impossible to replace, it has its own special niche in this gamers heart.

  • Masters of Orion 2, best bet is still ebay but because its also abandonware you can download it, i have had hell getting it to work in xp on some machines others less so, no problem with a pentium based computer some bother with a amd system,

ideally you can buy a dell gx240 for £30 off ebay with windows 2000 on it,

  • You have good taste in games :)

  • Thanks, dude. I finally got a copy of MOO 2 and don't have to use the disk because it's down loaded on my harddrive. I'll try these other titles you named. where do you suggest looking for thme?

  • I agree with MoaDib, Galactic Civilizations 2 is FANTASTIC. Also, I'm gonna guess you like 4x games in general so you should try out Civilization 4

  • a-men

  • you look creeply like that hero dude that gives dimensional portal if you hire/rescue him

  • Thanks. 'Preciate the compliment.

  • When Im his age I hope to look just as creepy, in fact the only difference i expect is I will have less teeth and a buncha bongs where the bookshelf is. Rock on for being a gaming geezer!

  • :-)

  • Tought the same xD

    Hi Admiral Kronos !

  • (& fu bugged comment replies)

  • that's how my version is hacked

  • same here

  • What was once Microprose was merged into Hasbro, which was bought out by Infogames, which was bought by Atari. Atari closed down the last Microprose development studio in 2003. They're gone :(

  • I just did quick search on froogle and found a store carrying the game. Try putting this into google: "Discount software corporation" "battle at antares". Never dealt with them before, but it might be worth a shot if you're still looking. Also, a place called CDaccess (dot) com has something called a Megapak Volume 8 which includes MOO2 along with some other games. Might be an even better deal given that. Have fun.

  • The name was Microprose. And I don't understand how and why a company with such a fine product could go out of business. We oughtta sue 'em for abandonment and Infogames for cruelty to the game with Master Of Orion III. Think we could get a class action started. Snicker, snicker. I'll try to email you. Thanks for contacting me.

  • My address is 3030 French Rd. apt 404, Beaumont, Texas 77706 You said you'd send me a cd of Master Of Orion. 'Preciat ya

  • Microsoft is out of buisness... so is the company that bought them, and it now rests with Atari. Yes u can download it from bearshare ect. I have it running on XP x64 cracked version with no CD

E-Mail me at the yahoo by the same name (darkestaxe) for more info (Cant put email address in Utube comments)
