The number of stupid ppl watching these videos is (quite surprisingly) staggering. I don' t know about 9/11 and I wont talk about it, although I find the concept of an inside job unbelievably stupid, but come on.. landing on the moon never happening? There are currently reflectors on the moon placed there by the astronauts which are used to measure its (increasing) distance from the earth using lasers. How would you explain that?

I'm assuming that a cable would have immense tension on it.... just its own weight.... so a bottle cap in orbit would be enough to snap it ...pure conjecture... but the cable is definitely possible... dont what it might be made of.. or size needed. Might make a Spider blush.

I'm all up for space exploration but to be honest sometimes I think for us to get to the nearest star it will take thousands of years before we can actually get there or even worse take thousands of years to develop that kind of technology! And LOL at the guy who talks about the "tachyons", we don't even have the technology to travel not even 1/20th at the speed of light and this guy is already talking about developing something that will travel faster lol...

Like how bridges have legs that support it. From the em of these legs there shoulda be a floor that fennecs with all I the end of the legs all around the umbrella. Then there should be holes around this floor, and then a laser in these holes pointed down towards the umbrella! This way the same theory about the moon applies to this but up close. I'm no scientist but please tell me if this is a good idea, if you get it and can images it in your head.

(sorry for bad spelling, and wrong use f words, on my iPhone) so to do this they can use there model ship, just have it like an umbrella, and in the middle is the ship, there should be something around the outer edges of te 'umbrella' that completely surrounds the embrella. From this (what ever material they choose to use, or here let's say, beads) beads that surround te embrella there should be thick 'legs' of beads coming out from the outer edge,

The laser on the moon theory is great, but Albert Einstein's theory that no matter where you are the speed of light is the same, so what's the difference between if the laser is in the moon or right behind the ship? There isn't. My theory is I they put multiple lasers attacked to the back of the ship pointed to its "wings" it will go the half the speed of light either way. I have the model in my head.

All the confinements of space travel reminds us again and again that humans are only intellectual being present and are meant for this world only, and God has ordained it for us humans alone. The resources are already thinning out already for space travelling, with Nasa space shuttle program shutting down being one symptom. Space travelling is proving pointless to spend billions on. Except that we can only admire God's glory through ever powerful telescopes.

Religion contradicts the rationality of Science... and Religion forbids the expansion of Knowledge.

I consider myself a modern christian, and so my view on God is this, He created the universe but he made it for us. for us to study and explore, i don't believe he intervenes as much as credited in the biblical texts, this world is a test. thunder isn't his anger, black holes aren't his wrath, just challenges for us. i also think all GOOD people go to heaven not just Christians

would like to say that I'm very much an atheist, although I don't deny the possibility of alternatives to science.

That said, I know a couple of people at my university who are both religious and very into science, seeking knowledge, objective opinions etc.

Just the little detail, they believe in God.

Islam seems pretty alright if you live 100% by it's religious rules, to seek knowledge, do good.

Just that VERY many don't live by the book and do harm.
