I just got my melting pot and find that this video is one of the best on YouTube. I see that you have 1653 views of this video. Please consider coming back and sharing videos with us. You are auch a good teacher.
Thanks Bona for the idea on how to use the melting pot. I have often looked at it when at Michaels but have hesitated because I didnt know what to do with it! Now i do! TFS!
Thank you again for a great tip. I have all those supplies and I never knew you could melt UTEE in the melting pot...I'm must be out of the loop somehow. I have a silicon tray shaped like kitties...I've got to make some of those for my Kitty Mini.
Wonder if you waited for it to set just a bit, and then sunk the top of a brad into the tree a bit...you could make your own custom brads =) Thanks for the video Bona! =)
Best to get this Melting Pot with a 50% off coupon from either Michaels or Joann's. Plenty of them available from Joann's right now online. Also, another great resource for projects with this Melting Pot is Suze Weinberg. Check her out on YouTube and also on Google. She has a website but as I'm typing this, I forget the address. Great stuff!! Love this Melting Pot and all that you can do with it.
Great Idea, Bona. I have not purchase that. I have seen it on youtube and tv but never really was interested in it until now. I never thought to make my own fragments. TFS !!! Friday
So glad I bought one a couple of days ago! I have the UTEE in different colors so I want to try to make some colored flowers. Great ideas Bona! One question though...is that Princess's sister?
i used to work sometimes for aftermidnight stamps and they sell molds and this meltable opaline stuff...if you like doing this you should check out their website. i did make and takes with them using the melting pot, opulent opals, and art glass fragments where we poured the melted stuff onto the art glass and them stamped into it. we also poured the stuff into molds. check it out on their amstamps youtube channel. it will give you some new fun ideas.
Very inovative idea..i love it.I don't have a melting pot but i think i might invest in one...TFS..hugs Deb
