@Myhopeisinhim, You have one vital point to the contention about the keeping of the law that many professed believers in the Bible fail to point out. Keeping the 10 commands and keeping the "book of the law of Moses" are two seperate Laws. Deuteronomy31:24-26 informs us of the "book of the law" which was to be kept on the "side of the ark." This was sprinkled with the blood of animals( old covenant). The 10 commands were written by the finger of GOD; placed "inside" the ark( Deuteronomy10:1-5).
I know you are led go believe that his seal is the sabbath but the new testament says that his seal is the holy spirit of promised placed in the heart of every believer.
The Spirit is our guarantee that you are a purchased possession and that he'll return for you. We are told that if we don't have the Spirit, we don't belong to him...not if we don't have the seventh day sabbath.
@Myhopeisinhim "The Sabbath is a sign of the relationship existing between God and His people, a sign that they honor His law. It distinguishes between His loyal subjects and transgressors."
Read Mat. 5:19 "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
@Myhopeisinhim, you are incorrect, the Sabbath is not the seal of GOd, but the sign of His seal, but let's take it a step further. TO WHOM IS THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVEN? To those who keep His commandments. 1 Sam 15:22 "...to obey is better than sacrifice..." Acts 5:32- "...the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him." Obedience is the key in receiving the seal of God (the HOly SPirit) and Sabbath is a sign of that seal. There are 10 commandments and not one has been changed.
@Revelation14verse7 "The enemies of God’s law, from the ministers down to the least among them, have a new conception of truth and duty. Too late they see that the Sabbath of the fourth commandment is the seal of the living God. Too late they see the true nature of their spurious Sabbath and the sandy foundation upon which they have been building. They find that they have been fighting against God."
@Myhopeisinhim who are "they"? lol... what God says in His Commandment? Written by His hand...
"The seal of God’s law is found in the fourth commandment. This only, of all ten, brings to view both the name and the title of the Lawgiver. It declares him to be the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and thus shows his claim to reverence and worship above all others. Aside from this precept, there is nothing in the decalogue to show by whose authority the law is given..."
I'm not sure why people ignore this verse, it makes it clear that the covenant of the ten commandments was not made with their forefathers, but with Moses and those who were alive that day.
@Myhopeisinhim Read what Jesus said; Mat. 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."
And Mat 5:19 "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
You do realize that the law being spoken of is the book of the law, right? The law that Jesus came not to destroy but to fulfill. And keep in mind he also says that he didn't come to destroy the prophets, but to fulfill it. The prophets is something separate from the law.
As Jesus said in Luke 16:17 "And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail."
"God requires of his subjects obedience, not to nine-tenths of the law, but to every one of the ten precepts. They are like the links of a chain; if one is broken the chain is of no value. The violation of one commandment makes us commandment breakers; and we must yield willing obedience to all the precepts of Jehovah..."
I'm not just talking about the ten, I'm talking about the entire book of the law, the law of Moses, the law of the Lord. Matthew 5 is not just talking about the ten precepts, but every single thing God commanded to Moses, which is well over ten.
Violation of anything in the book made you guilty of the entire law of God, whether it was a command in the ten, or any other command in the book. People seem to pass over this point, its talking about ALL the law, not just ten of them.
@Myhopeisinhim Now I'm confused, are you with God or against Him. Jesus said; "John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments." You need to learn a lot about laws in bible. We talking about Sabbath, the 4th of God's Ten Commandment which are forever. You are mixed with Moses' laws which are temporary...
@Myhopeisinhim .... Moses' law was the temporary, ceremonial law of the Old Testament. It regulated the priesthood, sacrifices, rituals, meat and drink offerings, etc., all of which foreshadowed the cross. This law was added "till the seed should come," and that seed was Christ (Galatians 3:16, 19). The ritual and ceremony of Moses' law pointed forward to Christ's sacrifice. When He died, this law came to an end, but the Ten Commandments (God's law) "stand fast for ever and ever." Psalms 111:8.
@Myhopeisinhim , If the Lord came to "fulfill" the old covenant, and by His Blood complete the justification process for us by His Life and Death here on earth. Isn't it fair to say that Jesus came to strengthen the way to keep the commands that were not sprinkled as a covenant for the people of Israel only( namely His 10 commands), by showing us the proper way to apply them in our lives only after we have received His Spirit of Grace( matt19:16-26; Heb10:14-18)? Hear His voice and not the Liar.
16Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. Is this Human Tradition or Gods Grace? Should we not worship God in Spirit and in Truth rather trying by human effort 7 days a week fully empowered by the holy spirit . The Flesh profits nothing.
I am tempted to weep. I love Biblical truth, I really do appreciate it. I need to start keeping the Saabath Holy, Lord help me change my ways, which are of man's tradition, to your way Lord in Christ my saviour I pray. Amen!!!!
If only every professed Christian would feel impressed as you do. You have no idea how many people hear this message and hate it, and do everything they can to attack it with everything they have. You are a wonderful testimony to these other people! Your heart is right, and your conscience is tender. I encourage you to keep it that way! :) Keep up your courage, and God will carry you far! =D
The only way man is entered into the sabbath is through faith in Christ, and they are entered into the sabbath the moment they do so because Christ makes you complete, and in this your work ends as you trust in the works of another.

They also kept the passover and other feast days as well. Do you keep them all, too?
They were also circumcised and some were circumcised after. Does that mean we should still today?
