I agree with all of you. When I came across this song tonight, it took me back to another time when life was simple, yet uncertain. There was comfort in the message. Now, as I live in the middle season of my life and raise kids, that message is stronger and more relivant than ever. "This is my prayer."

I love the dynamic in this song - John sings at the end of the choruses "I lift it in Your Name" except for the last chorus when he says "In Jesus Name". I am stirred every time I hear this song. Thank you Petra!

Since more than 10 years that I didn't hear this song. Today I heard it again and I came back to those days. The inspiration in these Petra songs is powerful. They have a spirit of holiness, sincerity and faith. Thank you Petra, you have played an important role in my christian life.
Solid AOR/melodic rock. I never really cared for their overtly preachiness. There are ways to show Christian beliefs in music without shoving it in a persons face, such as the subtle efforts of Helloween, Edguy, Gamma Ray, Jacob's Dream, DIO Primal Fear, etc., but the melodies of the old John Schlitt era were all solid. Too bad it all went to mush once they started up the praise and worship shit.

This song is just incredible. I grew up with Petra in the early 1990's and have just gotten back on board.
There can't be another song as uplifting as this one. Play through it one time and you can't tell me you don't feel better instantly!
