Yikes, I hope all that hail stays on your side of the pond. It would certainly shred my squash plants. We've not had hail like that for many years thankfully. And of course sometimes it puts dings in vehicles as well. I image if a large piece hit a bat it would ding it too. Oh well, if you notice any dingbats hanging about you'll know what happened:)
Yul be one of the first people to know...I hear they travel up from southern regions - at least that's what I Red but do give us a shout if you Sea them heading our way...
Goodness Annie, that's BIG hail stones. We haven't had any but we are right at the top of Scotland. Your poor chickens! At least they found some shelter from the hail. :) More than the poor plants could!
I remember an afternoon of many years ago ,when i came back at home from my job... I have found all my plants destroyed completely .I became to cry as a little boy....

Gary got them in from their garden romp into their coop and run and they then ducked for cover under the safety of the hedges - all turned out well.
Now if only we could teach Max to herd...

I don't get it - you just said Gary got them into the coop. Seems to me Max taught Gary well :)

The Nasturtiums were shredded and some of the potato plants had stems broken, but thankfully, everything else came through ok! :)
