You should really consider some formal training. Coming from a family that owns a Dojo, I recommend you do so. You will benefit to learn from someone whose profession is to study the arts. My father is a Master Kung Fu instructor, I have grown up with the stuff. It is wise to learn real technique before you assume you are able to teach it yourself.
Thanks for the good advice, but I never wanted to teach hand to hand, I teach how to hold and spin a weapon but that's about it. I've always wanted a master, always wanted to attend a dojo or school that offers lessons in any martial arts, but it's just not available to me where I'm at. I'm sorry if I offended you in this video, I just got a message with someone asking me if I can do as flashy of moves weaponless just as I do with a blade. Again, didn't meant to disrespect in any way.
no, every "martial art" is pretty much just improvised and made up, i do study ju-jit-su and some tai-kwon techniques but i've never been under any trainer or any master, these are all my own style ;
I'd recommend taking some lessons. I've been teaching myself for years and just had my first Wushu lesson today. Needless to say, some things I had gotten completely wrong but I also learnt a huge amount about simple basics such as how I shift my body weight. It was very cool and I'm looking forward to going again next week.
I know what you mean, i take taekwon do but ive also practiced karate, jujitsu, and kenpo but taekwondo is the only one ive learned from a master, i combine all of that to make my own style, but i recommend fixing your center of gravity, you seem kind of wobbly and shifting your balance at the right moment can make your attacks more devastating.
oh well then that explains a lot! haha, i hate moving in those kind of pants (not to mention i always trip when i do a kick with them on, but thats why theyre named what theyre named)

lol, well, one factor is that i'm wearing hottopic "tripp" pants that have flappy chains all over them, kinda switches things up a bit.
