  • Hi Tim! eating tons of fruit didn´t satisfy you? You are still y only eating fruits ,vegetables and some fat and that satiesfy you? when you were on high fruit you did´n have vegetables and fat? Thanks

  • I think tim's caloric riddle rests on his fatty salad. I'd be more interested in hearing why 811 didn't work for him.... everyone is different but the human digestive system is pretty standard thing. 811 works amazingly well for me. Maybe he underrate on carbs.

  • @samadhi16 Hi. Sorry to say, yes, you are wasting your money. Why not eat things that are naturally good tasting so that you could eat it all by itself? Ask yourself; "would I eat Maca powder by itself as a meal?" ... I think you know the answer. I´ve tasted it and it´s quite terrible. I dont think it is raw either. If you want some extra nutrition you could make a huge smoothie with greens in it or something. Hope that helped. :)

  • @samadhi16 I heard that avoiding excess protein is good for preventing osteoporosis because body takes calcium out of bones to do whatever when there's too much protein in blood.

  • i still have issues with bloating, even when i blend a green smoothie. dont know why really, maybe its not for me ?

  • @MarcS4R I have the same trouble, loads of digestive issues in spite of being high raw for 3 years. Have stopped blending for a while to see if things improve. I don't eat nuts at all.

  • @artyj135 i stopped as well, there are certain foods that i cant eat, like apples for example. bananas are fine on the other hand. i guess each body is different and i know what works good with mine. maybe its because i never ate any fruit when i was a kid (didnt like it) so i never got used to it.

  • @MarcS4R I had this for a long time too.. I took strong intestinal flora supplements for about a week and things started to get better. If that doesn't fix it add in digestive enzyme supplements and see if that helps (you shouldn't need to be on either forever) the bod just needs time to heal up ..

  • It is better to do vegetables only and use a juice bag to filter the fiber out to make vegetable juice. Cultured vegetables are good with fat. Raw straight veggies are no good in my opinion.

  • yeah, I find that the social aspects of eating is one of the most difficult obstacles to a consistently healthy diet.

    Actually, I consume much fewer calories than the average American...my guess is that my consumption falls short of 2000 calories. Raw food is a much more efficient fuel, whereas many of the calories consumed on a SAD diet are burned trying to break down the very food that's providing the energy, and to clean up the damage brought about by an unhealthy diet.

  • WHY??? I get moral choices, I get "green" but good god you can get mowed over by a car tomorrow and if you live to be 110 you can look forward to pooing in a diaper and the hokey pokey in a nursing home. Seriously a nice hot lentil soup on a cold day...I feel bad for people like this.

  • @MarChiville I prefer to look both ways when I cross the street. This lifestyle can prevent or postpone crapping ones pants in a nursing home. However, I would much rather be doing that than rotting in the ground or being shoved into a furnace only to spend eternity on a mantle over the fireplace.

I was at the vegan fest for about an hour .... looking at all the powders, etc. I love all your videos, Tim, but this one really has me thinking about another shift in my diet (I've been getting closer to this anyway). Keep the amazing videos flowing. Do you ever post whole talks? I'd love to see the whole lecture I missed here recently.
