Chris Christie on Merit Pay for Teachers

Really everyone receives merit pay? Does that include you Mr. Christie? Why don't we start with politicians, instead of receiving a set salary, we'll base their paycheck on how much legislation they are able to pass. How do we determine the merit of a teacher? Is it based just on test scores. That would only increase cheating, not to mention you are taking the responsibility of learning away from the student and completely on the teacher. The Founding Fathers would cringe at that mentality.
