@StikyFingaZ234 you dont have to unplug it at all. the kinect only work with certian games, there are about 5-6 out for it right now. so you can still play all your other games normally with out unplugging it!

@BubbleGumizGooD yes you can.....on the dashboard there is an "xbox 360 school" (this gives you tips on how to do certain things on the xbox) and it tells you how to turn off notifications....i think you have to click the xbox guide button on the controller and go to the settings and you should be able to change them from there
