I remember crafting the Saxton Mask, to find that I hadn't gotten the achievement. I had to redo everything and craft it twice to get the achievement. This year, I was farming presents, when I skipped someones turn, and getting a haunted costume piece. I was banned within seconds due to his butthurt accusation.

I got a gift once. Another time I picked the box up but it glitched and didn't count. I was on one server, and over the course of about an hour and a half one player got the gift about 10 times. Everybody hated him.

@wrcaiowr Yes you can. When the gift spawns, it's still transparent. It takes a few seconds for it to become opaque and for it to be picked up. If you find it before it materializes, just stand in the middle and push anyone away if they try and get it.

1. There must be 10+ real players (Bots aren't counted) on the server.

2. The server must be registered with VALVe for gifts to spawn.

@Redoople You only find the Mildly Disturbing Mask with Candy Coroner. The gifts give different stuff depending on the map. Mann Manor gives the class masks(hence the achievement for finding a gift being called Masked Mann) while Eyeaduct gives the costume pieces.

There was a time I found the gift but because you can't take it at the beginning I had to wait and try to hide the gift but then a scout OF MY TEAM saw it and pushed me at the last moment and got the gift....

They're not actually that hard to find. For example, Eyeaduct. A small map. A lot of players. What is frustrating is that when you die, the gift will usually spawn during your respawn time, making it impossible to receive. I suggest using a dead ringer spy, then you'll get all of them easily. Sooo thats what happened yesterday: "Halloween haunted gift has mysteriously appeared somewhere below!" (Somewhere down below means Eyeduct's underworld. So I was going to enter Monoculus Portal.
