I've been a big fan of Kathy's since I attended one of her talks at OSCON. I think the subtle point she's always focused on is getting people to DO something. Too many speeches, books, and seminars end up adding NO value to the "users," because they never USE the information. Watch this like 20 times more, until that sinks in...

Great talk, & bloody good points. I have Mr Ferriss' book too & have lost 2" of waistline in the 2 weeks since starting his diet. Kathy's right: it should be about making the reader feel they're kicking ass as a result of the book.
